About this Cook
Born a Navy Brat. Traveled a lot growing up and still do when I can. Internationally I've spent time in Europe and Asia. My family has a diverse and not typically American palate, especially my husband.
My favorite things to cook
Italian, its light, simple, and good. Mexican also, because we live in a great city for it and its ingredients. French is fun beccause of its challenge.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Don't have any, trying to create my own.
My cooking triumphs
I've managed to create some pretty cool recipes on my own steam.
My cooking tragedies
Baking doesn't generally go well for me. I'm not exact enough for it.

Very Best Blueberry Cobbler!
Excellent!!! My dough seemed VERY wet and it took 45 minutes to bake not 20. So delicious!

Burgundy Lamb Shanks
I hate lamb but always make it for passover. I LOVED this!!! And so did all of my company (btw some of them hated lamb too and asked for some of the leftovers to take home). I even had 3 kids eating it. I used a whole 5 lb leg instead of shanks but it was fine. Loved it loved it loved it!!

Chocolate Fondue L'Afrique
Easy and quick to make with great results. We used Kahlua instead of the other liquor, it worked fine.
