I just subscribed to menu planner.  I'm excited because I love using this website.  I'm going to work on planning out a menu for this coming Sunday-Saturday.  Can't wait to see how it comes out:-) MORE

About this Cook
I am a teacher who loves to cook. I'm getting better but still get nervous about cooking for people other than my family. I've got three kids and a significant other to cook for:-) The kids are a little pick and one has food allergies so it can get tricky picking out recipies.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook big well rounded dinners. I like chicken dinners and I love cooking good finds from this website. I'm working on stuffing chicken. I don't get how to flip to cook on stove with toothpicks in, and I'd like to learn how to cook a good steak.
My cooking triumphs
I made really good shrimp and scallop stuffed shells and vinegar chicken.
My cooking tragedies
I'm still working on the Thanksgiving turkey. My first year I took it out to defrost the night before! Not a good idea. The next year, I cooked it upside down. I realize this is an exceptable method, but I didn't mean to do it. I thought I screwed up. lol I also make pork and potatoes dish the other day. It said to put in the oven for 40 minuts. I did 50 and the potatoes were still hard.
