Sticks and Stones Candy Bark

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
These were good. Everyone enjoyed all the different tastes. I used plain raisins instead of chocolate covered.

Pretzel Turtles®

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
One of our very favorite treats that we make over the holidays. For school, we pressed green and red m&m's on top instead of the pecans, but for sure the pecans are our favorite! The sweet, crunchy, salty, chewyness can't be beat!

Basic Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
Mmmm. This so far is my favorite chicken salad recipe! It is especially good the next day. For dinner we ate it on ciabatta rolls toasted in the oven. I woke up craving it so I ate it on crackers for breakfast. When my family saw what I was doing, they each wanted some too!

Crunchy Pumpkin Pie Granola

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
One of our favorite granola recipes! I do bake at 300 instead of 250 and stir about every 10 min until lightly browned, then it only takes about 40 minutes or so. One tip I've learned is granola gets crunchier after it cools!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
Pretty good crust. It's nice not to have to wait for the crust to rise. We like it better when adding 1/2 tsp basil, 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp onion powder and 1/2 tsp garlic powder to the crust when mixing together. We also find it mixes just as well with your hands, then you don't have to get out the mixer.

Little Broccoli Bites

Very mixed reviews. Either loved or hated these in our family. The look of them is not appealing and the smell lingered ALL day.

Manicotti Alla Romana

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! This is delicious!! This was my first time making anything like this. I used lots of pans and made a big mess, but it was so worth it! Now that I know exactly what to do, it will be much easier. We used Italian sausage instead of hamburger which I will definately do again. Thank you to the reviewer who said to put the filling in a ziploc and cut the end off to squeeze into the shells. My daughter helped hold the shell while I squeezed it in. We had so much fun! Try this recipe!!

Banana Oat Bars

The texture of these was not appetizing to my husband and I. The kids liked the flavor and did actually finish the pan over the last couple of days, but I probably will not make again.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

My husband loved this, the kids hated it and I was so so about it. I cut down the sugar like others said, but it was still way too sweet!

Fruit 'n' Honey Granola

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
This was good. We took the advice from another reviewer to mix the honey and oil together first! I then waited to add the oatmeal until last after mixing the other ingred. with honey/oil mix. Instead of wheat germ, I used an extra 1/4 cup flax seed and didn't add sunflower seeds. For fruit, we used raisins and craisins. We baked about 25-30 min. until we started to smell it, then I took it out because I didn't want it to burn. Ours didn't break into pieces. *update* We made this again and liked it much better the second time for some reason. I let it cool and sit overnight and I think the key may be to let it cool COMPLETELY (I realized I didn't do that the first time) because then it did actually break a little more into pieces. We love this for cereal in the morning!

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
Our family loves these. The only change I made was to bake instead of frying. We always double the mixture and make them into burrito size instead of appetizer size. We like Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce with these.
