Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

Good recipe. Easy, simple ingredient list. I did add water to thin it out a bit. Maybe 1/2 cup total water. No other changes, except for this particular dinner I added jarred pasta sauce to supplement it. I preferred the flavor of the original sauce but needed it to stretch a little farther. It would probably feed 4-6, depending on their eating habits.

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

Possibly the best cookie I've ever had- moist, fudgy, rich and satisfying! I made one change due to my own ingredient availability- I used 3 oz. unsweet chocolate + 1 oz bittersweet, and tried to compensate by using just less than 1 cup of sugar. Excellent recipe!

Cream Cheese Mints

I am rating this one a 4 because I had to tweak it a bit to suit my needs and tastes but still think it a great starter recipe. I made these and used a mold for shaping them. To do that I needed to add 1/2 c to 1 full cup more powdered sugar for a less sticky and more cohesive consistency. I also added more peppermint extract, and I recommend rolling the balls into powdered sugar before pressing them into a mold so they remove more easily and you don't have the crunch of granulated sugar. They tasted great!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Good, solid recipe- I used black beans instead of kidney and didn't use sour cream at all. I had no garlic, so I used garlic powder and all turned out well. I would definitely make these again as they were relatively fast and very easy- the unique combination was very refreshing!

Butternut Squash Soup

I am not sure if something went horribly wrong or what, but while the taste of this soup wasn't bad, I found the texture of it to be too much. I think this would be good as a sort of appetizer dip but I thought I'd gag when I attempted to eat a whole bowl of soup.

White Chocolate Cake

I'd really give this recipe 4.5 stars- good taste and texture. The one downside to me is that it's a little oily. I made this recipe for a wedding cake and someone told me that it was the best wedding cake she had ever tasted. I made my own white chocolate butter cream icing.
