This recipe by itself was very bland. I made it with a all the changes that others have recommeded. Added half the beer, 1 tsp of worchester, garlic, onion powder, salt to taste, can of mushrooms and it was still bland. After it was finished, I pulled the roast out and simply shredded it and added bbq sauce. I piled the beef on the french bread with butter, topped it with cheese placed it in the broiler until the bread got toasty and the cheese melted. It was good but with all the changes it wasnt the same recipe.
