This candy is delicious and so easy! Based upon previous reviewers' advice, I used two teaspoons of peppermint extract. Next time, I will use Adnes mints.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
Delicious and this could not be easier! I used Costco's packaged grilled chicken strips that I cut into bite size pieces which worked great. Rotisserie chicken would be good too.

Made this recently and subbed in marinara sauce for the alfredo, since we prefer it. Big hit with the whole family, especially the kids.

Rum Glazed Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
I made these when it was too cold out to grill, so I put them in the broiler and they turned out just fine. I also used white rum, because that was what I had on hand. Very good-nice flavor.

Jewish Style Sweet and Sour Brisket

This was awesome! I browned the brisket and then put it in the crockpot with the rest of the ingredients for about 9 hours on low. We ate it the same day. Even my fussy 3 year olds liked it!

Italian Chicken Sausage Risotto

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
Good risotto, nice flavor with the chicken sausage, but the directions need a little work. In order to make risotto properly, you have to add one cup of stock at a time-you cannot just pour in three cups of liquid and walk away like you can with regular rice. Add one cup of liquid at a time, stirring until the liquid is absorbed before adding the next cup. Risotto takes anywhere from 20-25 minutes to make it properly, but it is well worth it.
