Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2012
Delicious! I halved the recipe and made 18 regular-sized muffins. Baked for 29 minutes in my oven. For the halved recipe, I used one whole 15oz can of pumpkin. I also used 1C white sugar and 1C packed brown sugar, instead of 2C white sugar. Because I hate having to scrub muffin tins, I did use cupcake wrappers and the muffins did not stick at all for me (as another reviewer had mentioned they did). Cooled for about 10 minutes in the tins and then removed them to the cooling rack. They've only been out of the oven for 1/2 hour and I've already eaten two!

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
Delicious and easy. Should have Mae more for my Thanksgiving dinner. It was the first thing gone. I did double the liquid using chicken Better Than Bouillon, instead of broth.

Dutch Babies II

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
I love these. My mom made them all the time for me when I was little and now that I have the recipe, I can make them for myself! I prefer them with just powdered sugar, but my husband likes them with strawberries and whipped cream. Great for breakfast or dinner!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
Excellent recipe! I did use 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup milk as is directed in the instructions (the ingredient list has different amounts) and they turned out great. Also, I lined my muffin tins with paper liners and only filled them 2/3 full and they rose perfectly - just over the top of the tin. I also put enough topping to cover the entire top of the muffin and pressed it in a bit so that it wouldn't fall off. Also, after I took the muffins out of the oven, I left them to cool in the muffin tins for about five minutes before I tried removing them and they came out of the tins very easily without crumbling at all. I'll be making these again!

Garlic Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
Added a little more mustard than called for, along with some freshly cracked black pepper and garlic powder instead of fresh garlic. Also, only used one green onion. Delicious.

Pumpkin Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
Delicious bread! I did make a few changes, using the called for ingredients, except in the following cases: used 1 C white sugar, 1 C dark brown sugar; 3/4 C melted butter, 1/4 C applesauce; 1 1/2 C whole wheat flour, 1 1/2 C all-purpose flour; 1 tsp ground cinnamon; 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg; 2 C shredded zucchini; no walnuts. The result was a wonderfully moist, delicious bread. I will be making more of this to use up more of the zucchini I have in my refrigerator. Much better than just plain pumpkin or zucchini bread!

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
Very good marinade...used to marinate chicken for kabobs. I didn't add salt and added two cloves of minced garlic. Even my picky 3 year old and 1 year old gobbled it up!

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
Great recipe and so easy. Everyone is always so impressed that I made cranberry sauce, instead of just opening a can...they don't realize that it is only 3 ingredients. I do cook it for about 45 minutes so that most of the berries have popped and are cooked down.

Balsamic Marinated Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
Chicken was juicy, but after marinating for about 3 hours, this still didn't have as much flavor as I was expecting, nor was the flavor that great.
