Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
Even though there were a lot of reviews where the recipe was changed, I decided to give the original a shot. It was incredibly easy to make the batter, and using Penzey's cocoa was the way to go for me. I doubled the recipe and baked in a greased and cocoa dusted 13 x 9. I I baked them for exactly 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
This in my opinion is the best cookie recipe ever! well as far as chocolate cookies go. I made mine with all organic ingredients and used white chocolate chunks instead of chips. also I totally agree with using half baking powder and baking soda. My cookies are PERFECT! They're soft and melt in your mouth. Also i split the recipe in half and got exactly 2 dozen cookies out of it. Don't tell but I ate 4 just as soon as they were cool enough, but I am 38 weeks pregnant so I don't feel so bad. Thanks for this awesome recipe!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
yum! Even though I didn't think these cookies are very soft, I took them out at 8 mins, they are still delicious. The taste totally makes up for the crunchy-ness. I did not press mine and i wouldn't recommend doing so. I made chocolate chip and raisin chocolate chip. The raisin chocolate chip tastes like chocolate covered raisins!!! definitely try this recipe.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
if there was a higher score for this, you better believe it would receive it. I followed the recipe, however i used half mini chips and half regular chips. Also for the topping i made a semi-sweet chocolate and white chocolate ganache (spelling?). just melted chocolate and heavy cream. The reactions i got from this cake were by far the best ever! yum!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
This was a really easy and tasty recipe. I doubled it and instead of parsley I used fresh basil. Also I used a shredded Italian blend cheese and it was great!

Lemon Custard Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
this was very interesting to make! even though i didn't have the right pan, i used a glass bowl, the recipe came out great! i followed the recipe to the mark and didn't think it was too sweet. however, i do really really really recommend covering the top loosely in foil as it browns too quickly. i made this for my cousin and husband who love lemon and they thought it was wonderful!
