Pico De Gallo

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2014
This was very good, I only added fresh garlic and lime juice. I also used more cilantro, because we like it. Those who are saying to add avocado are making guacamole, not pico de gallo. Pico de gallo can be used in so many ways. Thanks for posting this

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2014
I didn't have frozen corn so I drained a can of whole kernel corn and put it in a heated & oiled cast iron pan to get some of the moisture out of it. I also drained and rinsed the only 1 can of black beans and added them to the corn to heat through along with cumin, salt, pepper, and garlic powder before adding it to the quinoa mixture. I served it with beef fajitas and sangria.

This was very good although I prefer a bit more spice. It's easy and very tasty. I served it with shrimp & chicken pineapple fried rice in a pineapple.

too sticky! I had to keep adding flour so it ended with no real taste.

German Zwiebelkuchen (Onion Pie)

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
I thought I reviewed this a couple of yrs. ago but couldn't find it. I didn't use bacon. I cooked some sausage, then cooked the onion with grated apple and mixed it all together before adding to the pie shell. Wonderful fall recipe

Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
I don't usually review recipes but had to on this one. It's PERFECT! I have been looking for the perfect recipe that will turn out well even if I change it up a bit. I'm a cake person and use a product called creme bouquet and half of the vanilla in most recipes. It worked very well in this. I also only had choco-peanut butter chips available so I used those. This recipe is great. I only needed to cook them 10 min. but my oven is always too hot. THANK YOU!
