Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2013
These potatoes were beyond wonderful. I used Yukon gold potatoes, did not peel them. I sautéed onion ( chopped instead of rings ) in a small amt of butter and oil, one tablespoon each. The dish was amazing

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2013
Made this for mil's birthday. The recipe made 24 cupcakes, and everyone raved about them. Good thing I took them all, some had 2 or 3. Now that is a compliment. I did use the icing recipe off of the strawberry cake using boxed cake mix...this is my husbands favorite recipe

Strawberry Cake and Frosting I

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2013
I only used the icing recipe on this, as I used the strawberry cake from scratch recipe for the cake. Delicious. I used this to ice cupcakes, I made 24cupcakes and there was plenty of icing left over

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
I made dumplings earlier last fall. They tasted wonderful, but were difficult to make compared to this recipe. This recipe is easy peasy and is delicious. I only made 1/2 of the recipe because it is just dh and myself but since they are so easy to make I won't mind making again. Great dessert for company!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
This recipe could not be easier to make, and my dh loved it. He doesn't usually eat egg noodles, but there was nothing left on his plate. I served with a salad, very comforting meal. Make this, you won't regret it!

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2013
I have been dying to eat some granola, i was so tired of eating cheerios every morning! made this recipe, it is so easy to do, and i had every ingredient on hand except sunflower seeds. i added flax seeds, and when i mixed the honey, oil and vanilla together, i forgot to add the brown sugar. so when i had the granola laid out on cookie sheets, i sprinkled the granola with the brown sugar, it is the best granola i have ever eaten. one more thing, i used golden raisins, i find them softer than regular raisins, so i had half and half craisins and golden raisins. i have eaten this 3 times in the past 2 days!

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2008
i made this recipe, though i followed a few of the other raters, and changed a few of things...i only used 4 strips of bacon (i only had 4) i used fresh spinach and steamed it in the microwave and squeezed it dry. i pounded the breast thin, but did not split them,i left them whole and slit them and filled them like an envelope. it worked perfectly, and they baked wonderfully. they were tender and delicious. my husband hates blue cheese and devoured these! when i told him they had blue cheese in them he almost died! hahaha!! but he has requested them several times! this is a definite keeper!! thanks for the great recipe!!

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2002
I was very skeptical when I read this recipe, and I decided to use up the little bit of molasses I had and give it a try. Molasses cookies are my husbands favorite! These are AWESOME! Simple, easy and very tasteful. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! A new favorite for us!
