Me and my sweetheart!
About this Cook
I am a newly wed, married to the love of my life. I didnt know how to cook much before meeting my husband, and because of my great love for food and him - Ive thrown myself into the kitchen, trying to come up w/ something healthy and tasty each night. My goals are to keep our current oven without blowing it up (as i did the last one! LONG STORY), to not over melt the butter in the microwave, and to try and find my husbands filet knife which disappeared suddenly after trying to cook him fresh samon. LOL...
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook have to be anything that makes my husband happy. I love to cook for him, and for my guests when we have company. I love to bring smiles to there faces, knowing that i contributed a little bite of joy to there lives. But if i had to choose one thing that made me happier than others it would be my mothers banana bread recipe.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs would be making meatloaf and it actually tasted better than my mother n laws. PRAISE GOD!!! GGGGggggrrrr
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedies is the 1200 times I cooked the dang meatloaf and it DIDNT taste like my mother n laws.

Too Much Chocolate Cake
Best cake ever!!! Such wonderful chocolate flavor and very moist. I was very pleased. Instead of dusting it with powdered sugar, I drizzled a cream cheese frosting on it. Cream Cheese Icing: 4oz. cream cheese (softened) 1 Tbls. Butter (softened) 2 Cups Powdered Sugar ½ tsp. vanilla Whip all together with mixer until smooth. Nook in microwave for 10-15 seconds to drizzle over your bundt cake.

Blueberry Gingerbread
Wow! Loved this recipe. Followed the recipe exactly. Got rave reviews from family. Not to sweet or bitter - just absolutely perfect! I cooked mine in the tiny little aluminum bread pans, wrapped in christmas plastic bags with pretty ribbon and a little tag as gifts. Perfect!

Easy Chocolate Chip Pound Cake
Super moist! Super good! I followed the recipe as was written and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the recipe!
