About this Cook
I love to make recipes that my 2 year old can help me with. I have met so many people who have never helped their mothers cook and they have no clue how to make the simple things like pasta, my daughter will never be like that!
My favorite things to cook
Veggie pizza, soups, lasagna, any baked goods
My favorite family cooking traditions
making homemade baked decorations for the Christmas tree!
My cooking triumphs
Whew, I recreated my mom and dad's wedding cake for their 25th anniversay!
My cooking tragedies
Dis you know that if you forget to put eggs in brownies you are left with charcoal....my brother still teases me about that mess up over 10 years ago!

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls
These were awesome! Even my daughter who hates wheat bread/rolls ate these up as breadsticks! Thanks for sharing, I will be making these often!

Belgian Waffles
Just finished making these and they were definitely 5 stars! I make everything from scratch so if you are like me, this was a very easy recipe!!! My daughter loves waffles so I think we will be making these every week and freezing them. My batch made 9 begian waffles. I will be experimenting with whole wheat flour soon.

Jamie's Minestrone
Great soup! I never rally like tomato based soups but the chicken broth and water really tame in down a bit. I put turkey in it and it was great! Next time, I will make it with some left over beef roast. This made plenty but it won't last long! Thanks for a great comforting soup recipe!
