Grandwich Breakfast Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2013
To those that wrote low rating responses.... It shouldn't matter to you if this seems obvious, it easy, or if it's not healthy. You should post Ratings based on how good the Recipe is! Make note if you must, that it could be made more healthy (and tell how you made it more healthy). Also keep in mind that not everyone who logs on to this site is an older person with cooking experience. They may be cooking something for the very first time.

Apple Butter Pork Loin

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Mine turned out a bit too dry, but that was my fault for letting it cook too long. Some had mentioned letting it slow cook in a crock pot for 6, 7 & even 8 hrs. When I checked mine at 5 hrs it was already 180 degrees. Check at about 4 hrs or U will be sad. The overall taste was really good. Made gravey from the bottom liquid as others mentioned, so was able to mask the dryness a little. I will make it again, but will start checking the internal heat a lot sooner. Served with a salad and Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic (very good) from this site.

Banana Banana Strawberry Smoothie

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
I just used what I had on hand: Hand full of frozen sliced strawberry's, one banana, a couple scoops of French Vinilla ice cream, and milk. Cold and tasty! Just about any variation of ice cream, vogurt, fruit and milk works great. Thanks for posting!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Very Good! It had just the right amount of zip to it! I used 2 buches of Kal and 7 potatoes, as we like a bit more girth to our soup. Instead of heavy cream I used Lowfat Buttermilk which is half the Cholesterol of 2% milk. It has a bit more sodium though.... choose your demon. I used Bob Evans Itailian bulk sausage which has fennel and other seasonings in it. This is my favorite soup from that unnamed restaurant, and I'm almost giddy that I can make it at home now! Thanks for posting !!!

Autumn Apple Tart

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
I took the advice of another and lowered the oven temp to 325 and cooking time to 45min's. I would not suggest doing this. The dough was not cooked all the way through, and the apples were crunchy. Cooked it at the correct degrees / time, and it turned out very good!

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
This chicken is kick - or should I say kick Butt! I only have one problem w/ the Recipe "Discard 1/2 the beer"? No Friggin way! Drink the Beer... in fact drink several beers while you wait. U got 3hrs before it's done! I slamed down a bunch and was Really Ready for that Chicken. I pulled out my knife, slit the breast after 3hrs - no tmp probe. That was the best chicken I ever had! There was chicken debris from my eye-brows to the end of my beard! I'll make it again this weekend after I pick up a case of Beer!
