Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers
These weren't bad at all and it was super easy to make! I followed the advice from previous reviews and it's important to strain the pepper, garlic, onion, and black bean mixture! What helped was adding about 1/4 cup of bread crumbs and about 1/4 cup-1/3 cup of oatmeal. It held together really nicely. I also changed up the spices: 1 tbl of chili powder, .5 tbl of paprika, .5 tbl of cumin, 1/2 tsp of garlic pepper, and 1.5 tsp of chili garlic sauce. Sounds like a lot but it didn't over power the patty at all. Will definitely make again!

baked sweet potatoes would be a great side to this dish!
