Hearty Meatball Soup I

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2001
Great recipe! I used lipton beefy onion soup mix instead of the bouillion, and then omitted the onion, and it tured out wonderful!. Also, instead of serving it as a soup, I served it over rice. (My husband hates soup, so I disguised it as a "stew"... and it worked!) Thanks for the recipe, it's a keeper.

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2001
Great recipe!!! I actually made this with Mountain Dew instead of Beer and it turned out YUMMY! I also made it in the oven at 350 degrees. I love this recipe because the entire skin gets nice and crispy. Don't forget to season the bird! Happy cooking and thanks for the great idea!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2001
This recipe was WONDERFUL!!! Thank you sooooo much! Instead of using boneless chicken breasts (which can sometimes be quite expensive), I used chicken theighs. I first boiled them and then shreaded them. It was great! I even used the same lime seasoning for my beef. It too came out great. Thanks again!!!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2001
I LOVED this recipe, however my husband didn't. He thinks chicken has no business being on a pizza. I guess I'll make this again when he's away. Thanks for the recipe.

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2001
Just got finished making(and sampling) these cookies, and let me say, they really are the "best peanut butter cookiese ever"!!! I've been looking for a flourless peanut butter cookie recipe, and now I've found it and won't go back. Thanks Sandy!! And by the way, the cook time for these cookies was perfect, any loner in the oven and they'll burn. Wonderful cookie!

Cauliflower-Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2002
This recipe was great! I did, however make some additions to it which made it even better. I added chicken broth instead of the water. I also had some leftover brocolli, spinach, and half of a tomato which I also added. In addition to that, I minced my veggies in the food processor instead of chopping them, which cut down on the cooking time of my soup. All in all it turned out just wonderful. Thank you for such an easily adjustable and yummy recipe.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2001
Great recipe!!! I made a few changes though, simplifying the recipe. I used uncooked macaroni and increased the milk to 2&1/2 cups. I also added breadcrumbs to the top, stirred half way through, and added more breadcrumbs to the top. Turned out beautifully! My husband even had thirds!!!

Asparagus Casserole II

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2001
I had forgotten how much I love asparagus! This resipe was great. I substituted stovetop for the crackers, just sprinkling them on, and cream of chicken for the cream of mushroom soup. It tured out wonderful just the same. Thank you for the recipe. :)

Easy Mini Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2003
This recipe was so quick, easy, and yummy! I did make some adjustments however. I didn't trim my bread, but rather molded it to the muffin tin as the crust. I used american cheese instead of swiss, but I guess any cheese would do. I also added a little bit more milk and an extra egg because it looked like it needed it. As well as a bit of garlic powder to the egg mixture. Came out PERFECT! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us!

Kids Favorite Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2001
Great meatloaf!!! I added lipton beefy onion soup mix to the recipe, and substituted italian breadcrumbs for the cereal squares. Turned out very good with just the right amount of sweetness. Thanks for the recipe.

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2001
I made this the other night as a sidedish for bbq chicken. It came out okay, but all the little dried onions burned! If I can figure out how to make it w/out the burned onion flaver, maybe I'll try it again.

Tater Tot Hot Dish I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2001
This recipe was good. Next time, I will cook and season the ground beef BEFORE I assemble the meal. The recipe doesn't say to do this, and I ended up with a very greasy dinner. So, if I decide to make this again, I will cook the beef first, then make the dish. :)

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
This recipe was okay, but I did add some regular bottled bbq sauce to it because when I tasted themaple glaze it was too sweet for my taste. I added about 1/3 of a cup of the bottled bbq sauce to the recipe and it turned out very yummy!!

Seven Layer Tortilla Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2001
This recipe was okay, except it needed a lot more flavour, so I spiced it up with mexican seasoned salt, cumin, and garlic salt. My family is not vegetarian, so instead of using two cans of pinto beans, I used one can and added a layer of cooked ground beef, cumin, and garlicsalt. My husband LOVED it, but my two year old wouldn't touch it.

Applesauce Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2003
This recipe was a disappointment. The bread got all soggy from the applesauce. If I decide to make this again I guess I would use less applesauce.

Sorry, but this was really yucky. Way too much mayo. I ended up throwing it all out. I will never make this again.
