About this Cook
Wow! This is the coolest site to try and review new recipes! I stumbled upon it while looking for a recipe one day, and I am glad I did! I love cooking and trying new recipes from "home cooks" and seeing the reviews. How everyone is so willing to share their talents and family traditions is wonderful. I am a married mother of three and live in Austin, Tx. and work as a Real Estate agent. My children are 25,21 and 12 years old. My other 3 babies are, Chrissy, Pepper and Sparky. I love animals! Spending time with friends and family is what I love the most. Living in Austin is awesome and diverse. The food culture here is spectacular. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Happy cooking! :) xxxooo
My favorite things to cook

My favorite family cooking traditions
I love making homemade flour tortillas for my family on Sunday for breakfast.

Blueberry Coffee Cake III
This is a superb recipe. The texture of the cake was perfection. The fact that is made in a springform pan makes a beautiful presentation. I used frozen wild bluberries. The trick to keep from having the bluberries make your batter "blue" is to fold them in GENTLY right before putting in the pan. I did this and it turned our picture perfect. The topping on this had perfect ratios to give it a beautiful yet not soggy crumb topping. A KEEPER! Thank you for a wonderful recipe!

Sweet Dinner Rolls
Ok,this is a fab recipe! I made "cloverleaf" rolls and the are super delicious! light, fluffy and just a hint of sweetness. I will use this for sweet rolls also. Great dough to handle and great texture for rolls. TRY this even if you have no experience, it's such a good recipe, you can't mess up unless you don't use fresh ingredients (as with any baking) ENJOY!

Fast and Easy Hamburger Casserole
I followed some of the suggestions and added cream of mushroom instead of chicken soup and omitted ketcup...yuck! Follow the recipe as stated and you may have better results. I thought this had way too much cream cheese..this is the first recipe on this site that I really did not care for. Again, maybe if I made it as stated it would have been better, but I fear the cream cheese would have still been too over powering.
