OH BOY!! this was terrif! I baked it also, using the directions from the reviewer abover but next time I'm doubling the recipe, we fought over the small servings, haha. Better than a restaurant. Thanks!

Mediterranean Chicken with Eggplant

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
We loved the very flavorful chicken and tomato part of this recipe so much. The eggplant was good, soft and tasty but overwhelming. The next time, I think I'll slice them smaller and maybe use only one or two eggplants instead of three. The taste was great. Very good dish and worthy of a repeat!

Quick Gnocchi

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
YUM!! I mixed this idea with 1/2 C whole wheat flour and 1C pureed spinach and OH BOY! My family went wild for it! Not having to bake the potatoes saved me so much time and effort and I didn't notice a difference. I got the vitamins in and they got their beloved "pasta" for dinner. loved it!

Fabulous! Definitely one to put in regular rotation. I made it exactly as stated in recipe and it turned out perfectly. I basted it with its juices every hour or so and WOW!

Baked Whole Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
YUM! this was great! I also had a tough time getting the sprinkles to stick but I used butter spray instead plus crushed wheat crackers instead of bread crumbs. I just scooped them up and plopped them back on. Everyone at the table loved the presentation and every bite was eaten!!

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
Good! I followed the recipe to a T. The sauce was great, the meat was a bit dry inside after my 8 hours but dunking it back in the sauce for each bite was divine. Served with veggies and mashed potatoes, terrific dinner!

Peaches and Cream Pops

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
This is good, but I liked it better unfrozen as a treat. The freezing made mine way too hard and lost its "creamy"ness. Maybe because my yogurt was fat free and my peaches were with pear juice instead of syrup. I neeeeded some honey for sweetness too. Nice for a light treat.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
THIS is our new favorite chicken! The whole family loved this so much. We grilled ours also, on the advice of another reviewer. Turned out so tender inside, caramelized on the outside. The flavor was terrific. You could smell the marinade throughout the house. YUM!! A real winner!

Peach Curry Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
Really good! I goofed up and used lite peaches in juice instead of heavy syrup so the sauce was watery but the flavor was so terrific. I added a bit of Indian Five Spice also and omitted the scallions. Served with Malak Paneer and homemade Falafel. What a great dinner!

Curried Salmon Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
WOW! so simple, so terrific! I used 1/2 yogurt, 1/2 lite sour cream and red curry paste from a can. The taste reminded me a bit of the red rooster chili mayo in sushi. What a great flavor! We served over kasha with sliced summer tomatoes and cucumbers.

Sesame Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
Same sauce recipe as Nigella's Cold Soba Noodles...which we love, but this didn't really translate well for me. I didn't love this as much as I thought I might, just a matter of personal taste. I'm glad I tried it.

Crispy Orange Roughy

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
I must have pressed to much potato onto these because they tasted like potato pancakes. It over powered the delicate flavor of the fish. I will try it again tho because it was so quick and easy.

Pork Chops with Delicious Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
A new family favorite. I served this with cheesy potatoes and green beans. I added more milk and let it cook down for more gravy. Very quick and super easy! I might try this with low fat sour cream too, and I did use skim milk and it tasted as rich as whole fat. Great!

Cloud Nine Martini

I like this a bunch! I used a little more Sprite because I'm 'light weight' but the taste is so terrific. Like a candy instead of the swill my husband likes in a traditional martini, hahah!
