Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies were DELICIOUS! I'm a newbie when it comes to baking and was worried that they wouldn't turn out. I worried for nothing! I followed the recipe exactly! I think I made my cookies too big though b/c I ended up baking them for much longer. I just kept an eye on them until they were done. Great cookies, I will definitely make them again!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Perfect recipe! The cookies look fantastic and taste great. I had to bake my cookies for much longer but I took them out before they got dark and let them cool on the sheet for five minutes like the directions said. I don't know if I made my cookies too big (~1/4 cup balls of dough) or if it is because I have a gas oven, but I ended up baking my cookies for 15 minutes (these were on a thin, dark sheet on the top shelf) and 20 minutes (on a "rolled" sheet in the middle of the oven). I will be using this recipe again and again!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

If you use this recipe as is, your cookies will NOT be good. Before baking the consistency of the dough looks good, but the dough spreads really flat once baked. I did the cookies over and added an additional 1/4 cup flour. I also turned my oven down to 350 and baked for 12 minutes. The cookies were good after that and very yummy. I gave such a low score b/c the recipe, unchanged, just doesn't work.

Ma Ma's Sugar Cookies

First, the dough is way too soft to cut into shapes. I tried pressing them with a glass like a previous commenter and the dough was too sticky. I ended up flattening with the palm of my hand to the thickness suggested in the directions. The cookies spread A LOT and were gooey when I took them out. Yuck. I had some batter left over so for the next batch I rolled them into balls and let them bake for 12 minutes. They looked better but the flavor wasn't that great. Not using this recipe again.
