To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2014
I made this last night and thought the flavour was just so so, and found it way too greasy. If I make this recipe again I will reduce the butter to 1/4 cup and saute fresh garlic in it first. I thought the recipe overall lacked flavour so added onion powder and nutmeg to give it a bit of punch.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2013
The flavour was okay however they were too moist, fell apart when trying to remove from the pan even though it was well greased, and the struesel crumbled and broke off. Had to call my hubby at work to warn him to eat over a plate they were so messy. Will not make again.

Beer Brats

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2012
Made these with uncooked bratwurst and followed the recipe exactly as written. They were spicy beyond belief. 3 hrs later our lips and tongues were still numb, you couldn't taste the meat it was so overpowered by spice. Will not make again.

Funnel Cakes IV

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
This was my first time making funnel cakes. I halved the recipe after reading the other reviews but wished I hadn't! I will keep the original porportions and that will give me 8 cakes of about 8" across. I used one of the bottles from the picnic condiment set at the dollar store with the tip cut off so I had an opening of about 1/4". I had no problem forming these cakes either, I started with an outside circle then zig zagged inside of it. I also used all the flour, increased the milk by an extra 4 tbsp and added a tbsp vanilla. They were so good my husband purposely made himself late for work just so he could eat more of them. lol

If I could give this recipe more stars I would. It was that good! Yummy!!!! It's the first strata I've made and I've no need to go looking for another recipe because I figure it couldn't get any better than this. Thank you so much for sharing!! :)

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
I wish someone in their review had stated this recipe tasted a lot like mincemeat and nothing like cranberry sauce. I'm not impressed neither was anyone in my family.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
Made exactly as recipe stated, it was dry and sour tasting. The next time I made it I added 4 oz more cheddar, a bit of garlic and a bit of mustard and still the over all taste was sour and dry. Everyone left it on their plate, will not make again.

Kansas City Style Pork Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
these were good! My BBQ died 1/2 way through, so I wrapped them tightly in foil and baked them in the oven set at 300, brushed BBQ sauce on them and broiled them a bit to finish 'em off. They were so good my daughter who is ultra picky loved them, and my husband said they were good enough to convert a vegetarian!
