Baked Potato Soup III

This was fantastic. Perfect Christmas Eve dish. I doubled everything except the milk. It just seemed like too much and we like a really thick tater soup. Served the green onions and bacon on the side for guests to add accordingly. Thank you so much!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

I had passed up this recipe so many times...thinking it to be more of a "juvenile" recipe. I made it today and of all the six desserts I made for Christmas..this is GONE already!! Now I have to make more - WTH? Thank you so much for a easy delicious cookie that everyone loves.

I def. give this recipe 5 stars. I followed the recipt EXACTLY and it was perfection. Although I now see why there are no pictures....looks like tuna fish when done...but the taste is awesome! Just throw it in some corn tortillas that have been fried in oil till pliable - mmmmm....worthy of company - definitely!!!! Thank you!!!

I made these to go with sausage gravy and this recipe is GREAT! Best homemade biscuits I have ever made. Only thing I did wrong was I accidentally rolled the dough 1/2" instead of 1". Came out great anyway - just reduced the baking time. Will roll to 1" next time - can't wait!

I made these and they were great! 10 minutes baking time made a crispy cookie. I kind of like mine a bit more chewy, so next time I will cook for 8 minutes. Thank you for a flawless recipe!!!

Easy Spinach Artichoke Dip

I made this great recipe this past weekend - it was absolutely fantastic. Doubled the recipe because I didn't have use for a 1/2 full jar of alfredo sauce. I added 1T. of garlic powder and 2T. Louisiana hot sauce. It was awesome. Thinking about cooking up a chicken breast and pouring some of the leftover dip on top. Very versatile recipe.

Pecan Sweet Potato Casserole

I made this for Thanksgiving this year. Everyone loved it. I had lost my recipe that I had for more than 10 years and this tasted just the same. The only thing I did differently was that the butter in the topping should be semi-cold. Otherwise it won't be crumbly. It will turn out more like a batter....just saying from experience :) Thank you for an AWESOME recipe that will be used for every Thanksgiving and other dinners as well.

Cherry Cream Cheese Cake

I made this in addition to pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. I give this only 3 stars because it was very dry. I have to agree with another reviewer that there is too much flour. I would make this again but reduce the flour by 1/2 C. I also only used about 2 T. of flour that were to be added to the cherries. I would also double the amount of cherries because there was only about 1 or 2 in each piece as is.

Braided Egg Bread

I made this yesterday to accompany some soup. The whole loaf was gone that night. My boyfriend and adult son said this was the best bread they have EVER had. I took 2 suggestions from others. 4 whole eggs plus one egg yolk and 3 T. olive oil. AWESOME!! Thank you! Update: 12/11/10 I have made this recipe several times since I first reviewed. This time I added 1/4 C. Olive Oil instead of 3 T. - much more moist!!! Awesome!!! This is still the whole family's favorite!

This was an absolutely awesome recipe! Couldn't keep the family out of the kitchen while I was baking this....OOOOOHHHH gotta go get another piece before they eat it all!!!!!!! (P.S. - I only used 1/4 C. of sugar because I didn't want a really sweet bread)

Green Eggs and Ham Quiche

I made this today for breakfast. It was really awesome. I could tell by the amount of ingredients that this recipe would NOT fit in a standard pie dish so I put mine in a 9"'x9" glass pan. I also added 2 extra eggs because after all...it was breakfast :) I made the baking mix ingredients and poured it in the pan then layered the rest of ingredients. I cooked the onion with a little green pepper and put that in as a layer as well. 325 for 45 min. - BF and I loved it!

Hamburger Buns

I made these EXACTLY as written and they turned out fantastic - but I think they could have used more liquid or less flour because they were a bit hard and didn't rise like the wonderful pictures others posted. Will definitely make again and adjust accordingly. :)
