Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
These were soooo delicious. I followed recipe exactly. Not sure why other reviewers are having uncooked areas of their dish, mine was actually overcooked by about 5 minutes. There was a slight "burn" taste on the bottom. Next time I will bake this at 325 degrees. My boyfriend and his sons at this whole pan in 2 days! Sheesh! I loved the cheesecake layer and am thinking this would be a great filling for cupcakes, etc. It is divine. Thank you for the great recipe. This one is a keeper.

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
I must give this 5 stars. This was steakhouse worthy, however you must REALLY like blue cheese. My boyfriend just "ooooo'd and ahhhh'd" throughout dinner. Made exactly as stated but added fresh mushrooms. You could easily add green peppers, onions, etc. - very easy to make. Thank you for this "keeper!"

Slow Cooker Spanish Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
I thought this was a great recipe. Made exactly as stated except my roast was only 3.25lbs (the biggest the grocery store had) I really don't think the pepperoni added much to the dish. I didn't have the "greasy" issue another reviewer had with the pepperoni. It was absolutely foolproof and there no leftovers - so no pictures :( So sorry.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This recipe was great. I only wish I would have pre-cooked the dough before adding toppings. The center was not cooked through. Also, this does make two pizzas. One I cooked in a cast iron skillet in the oven (for a deep dish effect) and the other I made on a 14" pizza pan. One could very easily have 2-14" pizza pans full of this dough. The dough was very nice and easy to work with. Thank you Jason.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Wow! The entire family just loved this. I made it exactly as stated. Marinaded for about 8 hours (had a busy day). The chicken was sooooo tender....I am intrigued. Wondering exactly WHAT ingredient made it so moist! Oh well, bottom line is, this is my new "go to" recipe for chicken-ka-bobs!

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
I made this tonight to go with shish-ka-bobs. Awesome is all I can say. Everyone in this house said this is beter than the other French bread recipe I have been using....and they were quite skeptical at first....but this just won them over. Made as stated except without a bread machine. I also put a pan of water in the oven as another reviewer stated and "painted" the bread with a beaten egg white. Perfect!!!

Chicken Divan Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
This recipe is awesome! I made it exactly as stated with only a few small changes. Used fresh broccoli and instead of 2 cans of cream of ckn soup, I used only 1 and used 1 can of cream of broccoli, then the other can of cream of mush. Also used about 1/2 C. more Swiss cheese. This recipe is a winner. I really was questioning the Swiss cheese since most lasagnas that I know of use mozzarella. I went on faith and it turned out great. This recipeis a keeper! Thank you Melissa.

Barbecued Chicken Pizza

Great recipe. Didn't add green or red pepper and used a refrigerated pizza dough. Really a foolproof recipe. Thank you!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
I made this for our SuperBowl get together. WHAT A HIT! I didn't use the green pepper or lettuce, because I agree with the other reviewers, - lettuce just doesn't hold up. As for the green pepper - that was just a personal preference. I did add on advacado that I mashed and added some garlic salt and onion powder and put it in a little mound in the center - just in case some guests didn't like it....and also advacado ALWAYS turns grey/brown - no matter what little "trick" you use to keep it from doing so. The flavor of this recipe was great! You won't be disappointed.

Knudsen Hot Broccoli Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Made this for the SuperBowl party...not too much got eaten, however, there were only guys here and only one of them liked broccoli. I thought it ROCKED. Took it to work the next day and it was devoured. Made toasted French Bread, also from this site. Good thing I had saved about 1/2 C. for myself that I left at home. I reheated it and put it over a baked potato for supper. YUM! I think next time I will add about 1/4 C. of cream because I felt it was a bit thick. Overall this is a keeper.

Old-Fashioned Baked Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Perfect! The only thing I did differently was soak the beans overnight and did not preboil them. Just baked as directed.

S'more Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
This was a hit at our football game party. VERY RICH! I suggest cutting them into 1" x 1" or 2" x 2" squares. Also beware of the broiler. I put this in and it took about 30 seconds to brown. One of our kids said "this is Heaven!"

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
This was great! I add a lot more spice like the other cooks had suggested and then some. Otherwise I made it as stated. Made a simple roux for a white chicken gravy with lots of pepper and ladled the gravy on top.

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
This was awesome. Made exactly as stated. I think next time I will boil the brown sugar & butter mixture longer though because it turned quite hard, which tells me that the sugar hadn't melted thoroughly. Wonderful recipe!!! Thank you!

I thought these were great. Made exactly as written except the raisins. However, next time I will double the filling and icing. We like our rolls extra gooey. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This is my "go to" recipe every year. The only change I make is to use almond extract instead of vanilla but that's just a personal preference. Have extra flour on hand to dust the surface you are working, the rolling pin and the cookie cutters as the dough is sticky (which is normal).

Tree-Shaped Crescent Veggie Appetizers

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This is such a great recipe. Sooooo festive - going to have to make every year now. Took someone else's idea and used a seasoning packet of Ranch dressing mix to throw in the cream cheese and also used garlic flavor crescent rolls. Was a hit!
