Thai Noodles and Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
This was delicious. I only had two large chicken breasts, so I cut them into strips and browned them with some olive oil, salt garlic powder, black pepper and soy sauce. My Cream of Mushroom soup didn't have Roasted Garlic, otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. My family was impressed, and I was too. I will use this recipe again and again.

Best Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
These were wonderful! I will use this recipe often. I made a couple of changes. I used 2 cans of chicken breast meat, browned in margarine with a little black pepper and onion powder. I used half a bag of coleslaw mix, sauteed with soy sauce and lemon pepper seasoning until wilted. Then I used canola oil to fry them since I didn't have peanut oil. They were so easy and full of flavor!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
This was pretty good. I wanted it to be just a little bit creamier. I think I will make it again and try adding some velveeta. The bread crumb topping was so good, I will use this on my mac and cheese from now on.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
This was the best chicken fried steak I have ever made. This will be my go-to recipe from now on. My gravy didn't happen right because I didn't have enough milk, so I can't wait to try it with the right gravy. I gave it 4 stars because I would like a little more spice, but otherwise this is perfect.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake III

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
What a great cake!!! I added a tsp. Of vanilla out of habit. I only had one cup of oil. I baked it in a bundt pan instead. I frosted it with the chocolate frosting recipe from the Zucchini Brownies on this site. It is delicious. Very moist and the cinnamon is so nice.

Rosemary Zucchini Sticks

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2011
These were good...a nice healthy veggie option for dinner. I did use salt and pepper on the slices before breading them. They didn't brown up in the oven like I was hoping, but they were crispy. I may add a little parmesan to the breadcrumb mixture next time for a different flavor.

Good Cookies. We were almost out of everything and the kids were asking for cookies. With no white sugar and no eggs or milk, I thought we were out of luck...then I found this recipe! It was great and easy. I put them in a ziploc bag and the next day they were soft...yum.

Crab Bites

Yum, these were good. I doubled the recipe, but not the cream cheese. I added salt and pepper, a tsp. of green onion, a tsp. of Old Bay Seasoning and a tsp. of Franks Red Hot sauce. I chose to bake mine at 350 for 15 minutes and broil for 5 at the end to brown the top just a bit.

Tasty Collard Greens

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
This recipe is great. I have been using it as my base greens recipe for awhile now and with just a few changes here and there to taste (I like some onion and a pinch or two of curry), it always get's compliments. I cut down on the olive oil a little bit because it seems like the turkey leg adds a bit of grease too, and they were a bit too oily for me the first time.
