Creamy Chicken With Pasta and Broccoli

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2014
Great pasta dish! Because I had limited ingredient options, I browned two cans of chicken with the onions in two tablespoons of margarine. I added some garlic powder, salt, pepper, a few dashes of cayenne pepper and some Italian blend shredded cheese to the sauce before mixing it into my chicken. It was a hit for dinner, and the kids loved it. I will definitely make it again.

Creamy Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2014
This was a quick and easy recipe for a really delicious and smooth cheesecake. I added a little bit of almond extract and it was great. I will make it without next time, and maybe try a strawberry topping!

Wonderful. My family loved these and I will definitely make them again. My daughter said they remind her of eggnog.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
I am in love with these mashed potatoes! I tried this recipe on Thanksgiving because I always end up making mashed potatoes at the last second. This year I wanted to make them first and stick them in the slow cooker to stay warm. Came across this recipe and boy am I glad! I will never go back to plain potatoes again!

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
Delicious! This was a huge hit with our dinner guests. I only had a little bit of two different kinds of wine; a merlot and a pinot noir. I took the chance and used them both. It turned out great.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2013
We loved this recipe! It sure made my kids happy. I used frozen blueberries thawed out, and that worked for us. Can't wait to make it again when I have fresh ones.

The Best Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2013
What a fabulous marinade! I omitted the oil since I had some pretty tough steak to tenderize and I wanted the full effect of the vinegar. I also added about a tablespoon of brown sugar...because let's face it...that stuff is delicious with just about anything. I was only able to marinate my steaks for about an hour and they were pretty moist. I will definitely use this again and marinate for longer. I used the leftover marinade and simmered it down into a sauce to pour over the steaks before serving. Delicious.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
Mmmm Mmmm! This turned out to be one delicious meal. I sauteed an onion in the pan after removing the chicken, and added the sauce ingredients to that same pan to simmer. I used chicken broth instead of water and diced tomatoes instead of stewed. I absolutely loved the flavor of this dish and I will definitely be making this again.

Hearty Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2013
This was a big hit, my family scraped the pan clean. I did use some of the suggestions from a few reviews and added some extra ingredients like celery with the onions before sautéing and added shredded cheese, garlic, cayenne and some season salt to the milk mixture for a delicious cheesy sauce. I also added another cup of cheese to the top before baking. My husband said that I need to make this one again really soon.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2013
Loved this! I am not really familiar with making curry so I wasn't sure what to expect. I followed the recipe exactly, and I added a couple of dashes of cinnamon to the curry mixture as it cooked. It smelled amazing and the flavor was wonderful. I decided to simmer it uncovered for about an hour. Served over jasmine rice. My son dislikes curry, but he loved this dish. I will definitely make this again.

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2013
Moist and delicious! I doubled the spices, but not the salt and rubbed them both under the skin and all over the outside. I still wanted the flavor to be a little stronger. The skin was just so good. I didn't have any drippings left when it was done, but I bet a gravy would have been great with these flavors. It was so good either way and I will definitely use this recipe again.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2012
This really made a tender and flavorful chicken. I had to make a few changes for convenience. I used 5 chicken breasts halved. I seasoned them and baked in the marinade at 375 for about 40 minutes. I cut the olive oil to 1/4 cup, and probably could have used even less. My picky 6 year old even asked for a second helping.

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
This was a great recipe. I baked mine since it was too cold for grilling and it turned out great. I did cut the Red-Pepper flakes to 1/2 Teaspoon since I was cooking for little ones too, it had just enough of a spicy kick to keep in interesting. I used Olive Oil, because I didn't have Peanut Oil.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2012
This was so good! I really like the ginger in it. I made just a couple of changes like using Onion Soup mix instead of the onions. I used Ritz crackers instead of Saltines. I mixed the ketchup and brown sugar and put it on top of the meatloaf. I might just replace my regular meatloaf recipe with this one!

Chili Seasoning Mix II

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2012
This was just perfect for my beef chili and I will use this instead of the packet of chili seasoning from now on! I did not use the flour, as my chili was already thick enough. I did add a TBSP of cocoa powder to add some richness. This chili was some of the best I have made

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2012
These were very good. I made it exactly as shown. It was a hit with my picky eaters, especially the ketchup/brown sugar topping. No one could even tell that it had oatmeal in it. Next time I try it, I will add some onion and a few more spices for a little more flavor.

Spicy Cheesy Refried Beans

Delicious! I wanted to eat the whole dish. My kids usually dont like refried beans as a side, but they actually ate it all. No leftovers for me! I guess I will have to make it again.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
My family really enjoyed this recipe. I added about 4 TBSP of butter and 1/4 Cup of Parmesean Cheese to the noodles before baking to keep them from drying out. Next time I think I will double the cream cheese portion in the middle, it was my favorite part. I will also add more sauce and meat. Less Pasta might work too.
