Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Very good basic recipe. I added a can of cut pineapple and a little juice and thickened it up at the end with cornstarch.

I had never made a cheese ball before but this was super easy. You could use a little more ham and the whole can of olives and it would be better. You could also use imitation crab which would be good.

Easy Apple Cider

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

I did like the others and added more cheese (about 1/2 cup) and more garlic and italian sausage. This is a really good basic recipe. My kids said that it was better than Jonny Carinos (we had just eaten there)!

Basic Ham and Bean Soup

This was a great basic recipe for bean soup! I followed the advice of others & used chicken broth instead of water, used calico beans (which I soaked overnight according to the directions on package), left out the salt and pureed 2 cups at the end for thickening. I cooked on high in the crock pot for 9 hrs. It made a lot, so i am going to freeze it in single servings for later.

Sage Sausage and Cider Stuffing

I do not agree with the first review. I thought this was great! We had it for Thanksgiving and even people who do not like stuffing liked this. I used Spicy Italion Sausage and amped up the spices. My Italion bread only cost $1.28!! (LOL)

Greek Penne and Chicken

Really good! I added a bit more spices and marinated artichoke hearts and more feta cheese and a tiny bit of evaporated milk at the end, as the others mentioned. It was a quick and easy meal. It would be good with frozen peas or fresh spinace.

Ocean Spray® Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chunk Cookies

These are really good! Not too bad for you (well better than most cookies!) and they fill you up. I just used 2 sticks of butter as the others mentioned and rounded everything off to 3/4 cup instead of 2/3's (what was that all about? I've never seen a recipe like that!) and they were great.

Cherry Pie II

This was the best cherry pie ever. I used at least twice as many cherries, an extra Tbs of flour and pinch of salt, less sugar because our flathead cherries are sweeter and brushed the crust with milk then sprinkled with brown sugar & cinnamon. The inside was set up and tasted great.
