Crab Quiche I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
Very tasty! Used canned crab and made 8 individual small quiches...baked for 25 min at 350F. Didn't put any additional spices or Old Bay because it would haven taken away from the crab itself. Try it!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
AWESOME cookie recipe! Followed the baker's advice and added 1/2 tsp of cream of tarter, turned out great...make sure not to overbake, I thought they still looked raw after 10 minutes so I left them in a few minutes longer...big mistake, they were too crispy the next day!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
5+++ stars! I made a few changes: - Instead of 1/2 c shortening, use 1/4 c shortening + 3 tbsp of butter -Add 1/4 tsp of baking powder These were the best snickerdoodles I've ever had, plus reducing the shortening made them taste less store-bought...soo good!!

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
a little too creamy for me...i only used 1 can of evaporated milk and then refilled that can with regular milk...for some reason i could really taste the chicken broth, which was weird. it does make a TON of macaroni though!

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
i followed heromaine's suggestions and used only shredded chicken, cream cheese and green onions..along with a dash of milk (no butter needed!). they turned out great! i mixed some egg white with garlic powder and brushed the puffs before putting them in the oven...it gives it a pretty appearance (as well as tasty!) :)

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
These were awesome!!! I baked them in an 8x8 pan so I only need one can of sauce (which covered the enchiladas completely). I also shredded rotissiere chicken which added a lot of flavor, everyone loved it!

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
Got only rave reviews when I made them...I also mixed in shredded sharp cheddar with the cream cheese. Still trying to find an optimal oven temperature though...i baked them at 350F for 40 min and while the bacon came out nicely the bottoms of the jalapenos were burnt.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
i halved the recipe and added what others had suggested: - 1/4 tsp salt - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 tbsp vanilla these came out fabulous!! they weren't cake-y at all - the pudding mix made them so incredibly soft & moist, plus they smelled so delicious when baking! you could really smell the vanilla that's for sure :)

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
Like people suggested, I used 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening...still think there was too much shortening because it did taste a little like store-bought cookies. So I increased the vanilla to 2tsp and baked them a little longer so that the tops were brown...that way there was a little more flavor :)
