Absolutely Best Brownies

These are the best homemade brownies I have ever had. I followed the recipe and didnt make any changes, they are great as is. They are especially good with vanilla ice cream yummy!!!

Ok, I dont know what happened with mine. But they turned out as flat as a pancake.Well actually I have made pancakes thicker than these. The only change I made was I added juice from a lemon instead of extract. They had an ok flavor but since they were so thin they just fell apart.

No Roll Pie Crust II

This crust has to be the easiest homemade crust I have ever made. I didn't mix it in the pan I mixed it in a bowl then just dumped it over in the pan and it worked great. I made an apple pie so I didn't prebake it.

Best Ever Muffins

Oh so good, this is a new staple at my house. I followed the recipe and I added 1 cup of apples and 1 tsp of vanilla and cinnamon. I will be trying this with many different fruits.

Cube Steak Parmesan

I gave this four stars because I think that the recipe sounds tasty. However, we didn't like the homemade sauce to go on it. My husband wouldn't even eat it without almost gagging. I thought it was bitter or something but could hadle it better than him. I think next time I will try it with a jar of spaghetti sauce.

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

These are very addicting my husband and I have to make ourselves stop eating these so we don't get sick. (although I could probably sit down and eat the whole pan hehe) I did mine alittle different on the chocolate and butterscotch I used 1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate 1 1/4 cup butterscotch and 1 cup of milk chocolate. The combination makes such a good bar! We keep ours in the fridge which when you take them out they are very hard but if you leave them on the counter for like 10 mins before you eat them they are fine. This is my FAVORITE FAVORITE dessert. If I could give it more stars I would make these you will not be sorry!!

Best Lemonade Ever

This is truly the best lemonade ever! I loved it, I only added 1 1/4 cup of sugar which is the way I like my lemonade however next time I'll have to add more sugar for the hubby it was to tart for him that way. I followed the directions that someone had said and let it soak in hot water for 10 mins. and then roll out on counter before squeezing and I thought that worked really good, it didn't take that long to juice the lemons. It took 7 lemons for mine to equal the 1 1/2 c juice. This will be a new tradition at my house every summer, it will be made many many times. Thanks Jo!

Lemon Muffins

For this recipe I only give 4 stars, with the additions I would give it 5 or more if I could. These were sooo good, Im planning on making more in the morning. I used the zest of a whole lemon and I used alittle more milk than what it called for probably about 1/8 cup more because I thought they were to thick. Also, I din't have an egg so I added 2tbsp sour cream to it (Im not sure if that can be used for an egg subsitute but it turned out good anyways) Then mine only took about 15 mins to cook (my oven must cook faster) anyways after they were done I used the juice from the lemon and mixed it with sugar and powder sugar and poured it on top on the muffins. Oh so good!!!

Dump Cake I

I can't believe how good this is and it is so easy. Paula Deen has this same recipe but you use blueberry pie filling instead of cherry. next, time I think Im going to try that to. I guess, the possiblities are endless. This will be a regular at our house especially on Sundays.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Oh my goodness, this is so yummy. Actually Im eating this right now. We had some pizza left over from yesterday and Im eating it cold. It's wonderful fresh and cold the next day. I made a large pizza with this, we like thick crust. And next time Im going to put some cheese in it. Oh that will be sooo good! It was my first attempt to make a homemade pizza, I had some much fun with it that Im going to be making this often. Of course, this will be my crust recipe!

Easy Pizza Sauce III

Sauce was good, it was my first attempt to make a homemade pizza. I followed what the other reviewers said and added 1/2 teaspoon of basil and 1/2 teaspoon sugar. I think it gave it a little bit extra. I actually put to much sauce on the pizza for us ( I made a large piza) and still even had alot left over, i think i will make spagetti with it. UPDATE: since we had alittle to much left over I was going to save it and use it again for another pizza so I put it in the freezer. Today we had Papa Johns pizza and breadsticks and were going to use it to dip the breadsticks in well, while in the freezer something must have happened because today it was real tangy nobody would eat any.

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

I can't completely rate this recipe as I didn't have real maple syrup or the maple sugar. I did like everyone else and used sugar and cinnamon to roll my dough in. The dough was real sticky and it had to be put in the fridge for about 20 mins. and then even after that I never could get my into balls. I just dropped it into the sugar mixture and then made my balls. I would recommend cooking for at least 1 to 2 mins longer as my were still alittle doughy. We ate them anyways but would prefer them to be more done. I never could taste any maple in it, but as I said I didn't have the 2 main ingredients and just used pancake syrup. But still it was a good recipe.

Belles Hamburger Buns

I don't think I will ever buy hamburger buns from the store again. These were so good and I thought had plenty of taste. I mean how much taste does a hamburger bun even have. But these were so good, in the morning Im having these with eggs and sausage. I had to go somewhere so mine rose in a bowl for about 2 1/2 hrs. and then when I went to put them in the oven I forgot to add the egg yolk and water part. Mine cooked for 10 mins and then I took them out and spread some butter and grated parmesan cheese, put them back in the oven for 5 more mins. turned out beautiful.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Ok, to the people who said these were bland, I don't know where they got that because these have plenty of flavor atleast for us. I made the country fried steak just as it stated and on the gravy I only made half of it, as it is just my husband and me. But for us even after I halfed it there was still plenty left over. I didn't have buttermilk for the gravy so I used 1% and it turned out just fine. I just had to add just alittle more flour than called for. My husband said not to even make the gravy because he's not to big on gravy period but he ate it on this. I will be making this again. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.

Southern Peach Cobbler

This is an okay recipe. To me though, it's not a peach cobbler, it's peaches and biscuits. I live in the south and I don't know why this would be called southern peach cobbler. It was way to dry my family added cream to it just because it was to dry, and didn't have much of a taste. I followed the recipe as stated. I think next time I will be sticking to my old peach cobbler recipe.

Amish White Bread

I am eating this bread as we speak and it is delish! My husband and I are homemade bread fanatics. I didn't cut back on the sugar I like sweet stuff. It is sweeter than most white breads. I do believe that I am going to use this recipe for cinnamon rolls like one reviewer said I think it will turn out very good. The only thing I did different was mine was ready to come out of the oven after 20 mins. After, I took it out of the oven I always take it out of the pans and put it on a cookie rack and spread butter all over it. I think it helps from becoming hard. And it took alittle longer than 30 mins for mine to rise, I probably let mine rise for an hour or alittle more. I will be making this over and over again. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.

Honey Baked Chicken II

This recipe is good, not the best I have ever had but it was good and I will be making it again. I used boneless skinless chicken breast because that is all I had and that's what I prefer. I used all the butter amount even though some people said to cut back. I didn't have curry powder we don't really like any spices and never use them. I made this up this morning and let my chicken sit in it all day. I cooked it at 350 for 30 mins with reyonlds wrap on took it off and cooked it for another 30 mins, every 15 I turned it over and poured the juice on it. The best part of it is that it didn't dry up like chicken usually does. We had alittle left over and going to have it tomorrow.

Creamy Vanilla Pudding

Wow! we really disliked this recipe. Im sorry but the only reason I even gave it 2 stars is because I enjoyed making it. I have never made homemade pudding before it was very simple and I followed the recipe to the T.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

I thought this recipe was really good, my husband and dad loved it. The only change that I made was I did use milk instead of water. I cooked the filling for about 14 mins like one reviewer said after I added the butter and it came to a boil again I turned it down. The meringue did really good and I was surprised because I have always used cream of tartar in the others I have made but it did wonderfully. I know that I will be making this many many more times especially since Lemon Meringue Pie is my dads favorite dessert.
