I am a preacher's wife and daughter. I love to cook although Im still learning. I never had much interest in it till I was getting married 5 yrs. ago. I love to read, sew, spend time with family, and I love my 2 dachshunds oh and I love to cook and try new things! anything southern since I live in Tn, but desserts are my favorite, and my husband finally let me start using HIS grill this year so I really like cooking on it and trying new things on it. My family has huge get togethers for holidays and there is always lots and lots of food. We are always exchanging recipes. My husband about burnt the house down! One night after the food came out of the oven he sat a cookie sheet on the stovetop thinking that the burner was off and it wasn't. We went sat down to have dinner and about 10 minutes later the house was getting all smokey so we went in the kitchen to see that the cookie sheet was on fire. But luckly we caught it in time and didn't cause any damage.
