Wow is this good!! I made it with cod only since I didn't have shrimp. I used one can of Rotel and one can diced tomatoes since I did not have the chiles and the rest the same as written. It was great my 11 and 12 yr old daughters LOVED it. It is only 3 pts on the new WW program too!

Butter Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
Easy recipe! I used London broil it was on sale. I seared it after seasoning it with my fav steak rub. Sliced it and added it to the crock. I sauted onions and mushrooms in the searing pan and added those to the crock as well. It turned out very tender and full of flavor. The soup mix was a name brand. I have used no name and they are not as tasty. I boiled egg noodles and added straight to the crock and tossed. No extra gravy or butter was needed. My family enjoyed this meal. I would say buy your meat from a good butcher not per say Wal mart because they add the sodium preservatives and it really does change the meat texture and flavor.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
It was simple to make and my family liked it. It was rated a 4 from my daughter since she said it is not the best thing she ever ate.....so it gets a 4. I used Kraft zesty italian and Sweet baby rays award winning sauce. I will not add the brown sugar next time because I thought it was a bit too sweet. Thanks for this quick and lo fat meal.

Fried Cabbage and Egg Noodles

Love it! Ate this since I was a kid. I now use the egg noodle recipe from this site with it or frozen gnocchi. Really good and a cheap, satisfying meal. Great for pot lucks too. We love it when the cabbage turns brownish..mmmmm

Very Good! Spicy and tender. I used Frank's Red Hot. It was juicy so I used a slotted spoon to serve so the bun wouldnt get soggy. My girls and husband loved it. I plan on making pizza with the leftover chicken.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
Love this one. I omit the sauce ,juice and peppers. I use 2 cans of Rotel and 1 can diced tomato. I also only use black beans because we love them. I leave the spices the same. I add water and beef base to make it a bit soup-ier since I omitted the sauce. I simmer till we can't take it anymore and we dig in. Delish!

Really good. My husband said he could eat it every week. I doubled the milk and flour as others had suggested and I used Jimmy Deans sausage. I couldn't remember which one to buy when I was at the store. It was very good. Kids loved it too.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
One of our favorite soups. I made it many times and adjust it with what I have in my pantry. I always use Bill Erohls taco seasoning recipe. I mainly use black beans-drained and canned or frozen corn, Rotel and diced tomatoes and chicken broth vs. beer. I like the taste better with broth than beer. I surround the crock pot with bowls of chopped cilantro, cheese, sour cream, chopped green onion and BBQ Frito's. My family tops the soup with their fave combo's. All my family and friends have asked and make this soup on a regular basis. So very, very good and easy. Great for parties. Cheap to make too. I have used frozen chicken- breasts or tenders. Whatever I have on hand....dump and go. Come home to a house filled with the smell of this soup. MMM. Yum!

My family liked it a lot. It was ok for me. I can't decide why...I used Jillybean14's suggestions. Maybe too many onions and the cream cheese. I will use a different recipe next time.

Quick Chick!

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Yum! It made my house smell so good when we came home from church. I made this because I was looking for quick simple recipes to used on days I work. It's a keeper since my family loved it. I used five frozen breasts,a huge can of turkey gravy, 2 cups of sliced carrots and 1 cup celery. I added salt, pepper, thyme, garlic and onion powder. I served it with stuffing and mashed potatoes. We like how the gravy became thin. Will make again. So easy.

Yum! I used butter and 1 tsp of sugar as others have stated. It was my first pie crust...I made apple dumplings. Sooo good. Hard to roll out. I ended up using way more ice water to get it to form. Will make again.

Baked Buffalo Wings

They are fantastic. I didn't wait the hour this time. I did bake without the sauce for 30 min and flipped then baked for 30 more min. Drizzled the sauce on them and we ate after they cooled a bit. WOW...crunchy, spicy and GONE. Hubby and kids loved them with ranch dressing. I only added 2 tsp of cayenne. Will make again and again.

This recipe is perfect! It does taste different on day one vs. day 3. Less vinegar flavor on day 3. Very good both days. Reminds me of my Grandmother's eggs. Thanks.
