Chinese Broccoli Slaw

Wonderful, but I made a few alterations. First of all I sauteed the ramen noodles & nuts (I used pecans & sunflowers seeds) in a pan until golden brown, much quicker than the oven. I cut the sugar down to 1/4 a cup and added less oil to the dressing. I forgot the soy sauce, but will use the reduced-salt kind next time I make this. I only had a reg. onion so I chopped it and added it to the brocolli. It turned out great!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Scotch Eggs

They were really good (just wished I had some real English sausage to use instead!) I did learn that if after you put the sausage around the egg, leave it in the fridge for 15 minutes so it is not so sloppy and it is so much easier to coat with the egg and flour and bread crumbs. (I used seasoned panko bread crumbs). Also, turn the pan to medium heat to fry in veg. oil, but watch and turn very closely so it stays light brown. I also had to bake in the oven for 20 minutes to get the sausage cooked, not 10....

Grape Jelly

Absolutely the best recipe! Tastes wonderful with egg rolls! I used grape juice from my own vines and the only thing I would add is to make sure you strain or skim the pectin scum off the top of the jelly - I used wax on my jelly jars...

Peach Chicken Salad

Absolutely wonderful! I substituted the skinless greek cucumbers and used red wine vinegar - I let the vinaigrette marinate over the ingredients for awhile first before eating over lettuce....

Mizithra Browned Butter Pasta

You forgot the garlic! I mince a clove or two and add to the browned butter. I also add some chopped parsley and the pine nuts would be a great addition. A small amount of Parmesan cheese (freshly grated) would be a nice addition too.

Cheesy Zucchini Bake

I used a jar of spaghetti sauce instead of the tomato sauce called for. I also added one tube of sausage sauteed to the recipe. It turned out absolutely wonderful. Even if you don't like zucchini, you'll like this one - more like a veggie lasagna! The sugar really adds to the sauce.
