Fluffy Pancakes
Had a house FULL of children for the weekend. Being that most of them are teens, they are responsible for making their own breakfast. This particular morning, they wanted pancakes...and I was out of boxed pancake mix. So, I whipped up (doubled) a batch of these to make. I don't drink milk, but had a can of condensed milk. I watered some of that down and added the vinegar. The only variation from the recipe was that I took the suggestion of others and added some vanilla extract. WOW! These were an EXTREME hit. I simply love this site. So far, I have NEVER been disappointed with any of the recipes I have tried. I read the reviews and suggestions and eventially make them my own. ? ?

Fried Onion Rings
Not only was this one of the easiest recipes on this site, but it was a HIT with my 8-y/o nephew, as well as his 17-y/o brother. I used unflavored mineral water in place of the beer. Used equal parts of water/four and added a pinch of sea salt. I will be making this again to fry not only onions, but broccoli and cauliflower (and maybe will try pickles) as well. Thank you for this EASY recipe!!!?

Monkey Bread
I made this with my 15 year old nephew last weekend. It was E-A-S-Y, preparation was fast and the end result was really, really good. I used some frozen restaurant-style biscuits. I would not use them again. They were much too "soft" and fluffy. Grands would be a little more dense...the texture I would most prefer. The only thing I did differently is mix the left over butter with the syrup before we poured it over our creation. I was simply wonderful.
