About this Cook
We are a military family with 4 children. I stay at home with the kids while fitting in time to go back to school. Cooking a meal everyone looks forward to is important to me but I don't always have the time! That's why I love my slow cooker and recipes that take very little prep time.
My favorite things to cook
Anything in the crock pot.

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie
I made this recipe in a 9x13, substituting the sugar for Splenda and adding blueberries for a potluck luncheon. The fact that there was nothing left to take home, when there were three chocolate desserts competing for attention, tells me it was a hit! I will make this again on a smaller scale for the family.

Garlic Aioli
My husband is super-picky with a list of ingredients I can't cook with so when I made this for myself as a dip for steamed artichokes, I never considered that he might want to try it. When I went to get some I found he'd stolen it off the counter and was putting it on his tuna sandwich. I knew I'd found a keeper!

Fried Rice Restaurant Style
This isn't the best fried rice but it is definitely the easiest to throw together and is good enough to satisfy everyone's craving. We cook it with cut up pork chop for a quick meal.
