Oh so nasty for you with all that sugar.. but they are the BEST! ... I did as suggested and did half brown sugar and half white sugar. Amazing!

I haven't made Lamb before, because my husband doesn't like it. After making this recipe, he said he really liked this particular recipe .. so we'll be making it again!!

Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Apples and Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
I think they need to increase the prep time.. it is very time consuming to make .. but the results are worth it. I made it exactly as listed, and it was awesome. I recommend making a double batch, then for all your efforts, you'll have some to freeze.

Apple Almond Crunch Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
Made this salad for an extended family dinner .. they all loved it! The only change I made was add fresh local raspberries. I will definitely be making this salad again, even the children loved it!

Dessert Crepes

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2009
Absolutely amazing .. we have a crepe iron, so it's easy to make and we find it makes a lot more than 8 crepes for this recipe. Definitely add some vanilla to the ingredients for absolute delight!

Baked Oatmeal II

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
Did the following as suggested by another reviewer: Changed brown sugar to 1/2 cup, melted butter to 1/4 and added 1/2 cup applesauce. Added 3/4 cup raisins, 1/4 tsp cloves, 1/4 cup oat bran and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. All my family LOVED this recipe (We poured a little bit of Silk Creamer on top and ate like a bread pudding). Baked only for 25 minutes at 350 and turned out perfectly. My kids raved over this and asked me to make it every day. Even my teenager who hates oatmeal asked for more! Definitely a keeper! We are all so full that this will definitely keep us all going until lunch!

Very nummy.. all the kids loved it. Not the healthiest of recipes with all that cheese and butter, but certainly tasty!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
Delicious and so easy my 16 year old son made it! He added lemon zest to the berries and it was scrumptious! The only mistake we made was the 1/2 the recipe. We certainly won't do that next time! The 5 of us ate the 1/2 recipe and they wanted more!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
Oh my.. I had no idea these would be go good! I made as directed. The only difference is our family prefers dark chocolate so I used Hershey's "special dark" 50% cocoa chocolate chips. Wow.. all the kids wanted more and more! (ages 19 months through 16 years old!). These will definitely become a staple treat around this house! Super easy to make and ingredients you normally have in the house.
