Buttermilk Pancakes I

I made this with whole-wheat flour and brown sugar, so that may be why I had to add so much more liquid to mine. Don't be afraid to adjust. They still turned out to be fabulous. I got 12 6-inch pancakes which is a great yield. Next time I'll double the recipe so I can freeze an extra batch for busy school mornings.

Lemon Cranberry Muffins

Apple Squares

Made these per the original recipe, but did double and use a 9 x 13 pan like others suggested. It's a good thing I did too, or we wouldn't have had any left after the first day. I used Gala apples and walnuts and it is delicious!

Bacon Wrapped Pork Medallions

This was simple, elegant, AND delicious. Easy too. I recommend cooking the bacon down almost to where you'd eat it for breakfast since it doesn't cook much further in the oven.

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

White Bread For The Bread Machine

Six classes at my elementary school used this recipe to make bread to demonstrate "Measuring Matter" and every time it turned out great. To me, that's the true test of a good recipe!

This is excellent! I used 1C. Whole wheat flour and cut the sugar to 2C and it was still wonderful. This makes up into 18 regular sized muffins baked for 25 minutes.

Black and Blueberry Muffins

I didn't have wheat germ on hand, so I used steel cut oats. I also didn't have half and half, so I used milk. I cut the milk by 1/4 cup and added oil to make up for the fat in the half and half. Even with the changes, these were delicious and I would make them again in a heartbeat!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

This recipe is excellent as it is. I did as suggested and added some bread crumbs to the topping and baked it off. Make it as is and step back because people will hurt you to get to this spread. :)

BLT Dip

I make this ALL the time. Any time we have a function at work, my job is to bring this. I cook the bacon on a foil lined sheet pan in the oven at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes. It make it so easy.
