Tasty Salmon Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
THIS IS THE RECIPE TO USE!! I used chopped green onion in place of the onion powder, and added a little extra seafood seasoning and worcestershire sauce, because my family favors those flavors - but SO yummy still just as written!

Mini Apricot Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
Very good. . .didn't have vanilla wafers, but made my own crust - easy with butter, sugar, flour and oatmeal and a splash of orange extract. Used black raspberry jam - dropped on top of RAW cheesecakes and swirled before baking (filled to the TOP - they puffed up but shrunk down when they cooled) They were beautiful. Topped with some crushed dark chocolate chips while they were hot - EASY AND YUMMY!

Lemon-Raspberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
This is a resilient recipe. . .I only had one egg and no buttermilk. . .so I substituted some sour cream for the egg I was missing and used plain milk instead of buttermilk. Scarfed up by the whole family - a little flatter than I would like, but OH SO YUMMY!!!

Very good! Doubled the tapioca and let it cool completely and it set up perfectly! Used half red and half black raspberries for a perfect dessert with vanilla ice cream.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
So good! Favorite combo so far is the red velvet and cream cheese frosting with white chocolate coating and a few pecan pieces on the top - but that is tied with strawberry cake with lemon icing, white chocolate coating and sprinkles on top (three-year-old loves these!) I used two forks to dip these, letting excess coating drip before setting on wax paper.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
This is to die for!! Made it without any rum, and added more milk and cream to make it a little less rich. . .so we could have more in one serving. Tastes like a spice milkshake, but rich and goes down smooth.

Chocolate Butter Cream II

Wonderful recipe - modified using heavy cream to make the texture what I wanted - instead of milk and the amount ended up being between 4-6 TBS probably.

Yummy, easy, simple, served with some whipped cream in dessert dishes with a little nutmeg sprinkled on top of the whipped cream. . .looked way fancier than it was to bake!

This was very easy and versatile. . . make sure to bring to hard boil and keep it there for 10 minutes to make a firm fudge.

Delic! Made with no bacon (I don't taste bacon in the one I like when I eat out) and a little more kale and garlic. Half the water used.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
Easy and so yummy. My son and daughter (3 and 18 months) passed up EVERYTHING at the dessert table at a potluck and just kept pointing and begging for these (they'd gotten a little one before we left home) Cut into about 1 inch squares since they are rich and sweet. SO yummy - lots of compliments, and they looked beautiful!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
Rave reviews from everyone at a party I just took this to! SOOO Yummy!!! Did the nutterbutter crust as mentioned from another reviewer, put some melted reeses cups (stirred up after they were melted in the microwave) on the bottom of the crust before pouring in the filling. The filling was made with less sugar a little vanilla and NO milk and poured into one pie. Cut into very small pieces since it is very rich. Topped with a little cool whip, some chopped p-b cups and some chocolate whipped topping for a decorative edge.

YUMMY! Made this with lots of extra veggies cooked with the meat (zucchini, lots of garlic, etc) and threw in some cream cheese garlic powder and sour cream. My children loved it and so did I! Topped with fresh parm. cheese too!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
I made these for a ladies brunch and they were GONE. . .one lady just kept saying "oh my goodness, these are so good." I loved them and my children couldn't get enough. Added vanilla and halved the topping. They aren't real pretty, but SO delicious. The topping on mine sank into the muffins a bit so you got this yummy sugary crunchy gooey stuff in random bites of the muffin! Won't use another recipe for blueberry muffins again!
