Herbed Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
Oh my gosh I love this soup! I had no other 'cream' other than milk and I didn't want a soup that included bacon because I didn't want it to rely on it for it's flavor. I didn't have onion either so used powder but added carrots and broccoli. Oh, and didn't add the rosemary due to reviews. My hubby and daughter loved it, my son did not. He's a picky toddler so I didn't expect much. What a great soup to add to or keep it plain. Thanks!

Good Morning Wrap

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
I was a little uneasy about this one. Didn't know how the cottage cheese would taste with everything. It was so tasty!!!! Perfect for an easy breakfast!

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2012
I love this recipe! I do prefer two eggs, you can barely notice it otherwise. We all dislike peas here so I usually add green pepper and added carrots this time (eating it as I type). Instead of plain chicken I used an orange chicken recipe and it blew it up! Oh, and add a splash of seasame seed oil. Gives it such a better Asian flavor.

Turkey Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
Made mine with chicken, carrots, celery, and potatoes. My husband went crazy over it! I didn't have any onions in the house so I had to use powder. Next time I'll add pepper too.

Honey Baked Chicken I

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2011
This was so good! I forgot to add the margarine (oops!) and doubled the glaze. Might not of had to if I would remember certain things. I did add parsley and made one actual change, used maple syrup instead of honey. I can't imagine the difference being that big but still....so good!

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2011
Everyone loved this in my house. I thought it was okay but that is because I'm not a fan of whole chicken cooked in the crockpot. But you can't beat a recipe that you mix a few things together, forget about it then eat it for supper!

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I knew soon as I added the sugar and eggs that this was going to be a good one. It looked so yummy! It smelled great baking and tasted perfect! I only have one bread pan so I made muffins too. Can't wait to eat these and make more!

Lasagna Spirals

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
Did not like this one at all. The green onions were way too much flavor for me, and I only used half the amount. Might be better just leaving them out all together. I think I'll stick you a more meaty lasagna.

Banana Brown Sugar Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
These were just different enough to put a new spin on pancakes. My picky daughter didn't like them but that didn't surprise me. I did add a teaspoon ofbaking powder and they turned out perfect. I used whatever oatmeal I had and eased up on the brown sugar, I will add a bit more next time. Can't wait to try different kinds!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
These were very tasty! I didn't pay attention to the time or heat but left them in the slow cooker for six hours on low. It was so easy to shred. I'll use more bbq sauce next time. Not sure what size bottle I used but I usually make my own anyway.

This and That BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I love this sauce! The first time I made it I added a 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Oops! It still turned out amazing. I didn't use the brown sauce or add anything else.

Pizza Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
This is a wonderful sauce! I love making my own pizza now. Even my hubby likes it and he can get picky about homemade food vs fast food. I don't think I like the fresh tomatoes in it though. I added brown sugar instead of white and it helped a bit. I might have to start using can though. :(

A good recipe but I think I like the other one I found that uses cream cheese. However, if I don't have the cheese I'm going to this one! Yum!

Asian Orange Chicken

This was a great dish but next time we are skipping the flouring part. It just came right off and made the sauce weird. But the flavor was perfect! Yes! Skipped the breading and it was amazing! Made it with Chinese Chicken fried rice II on here. Yeah, highly recomend.

Chewy Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2011
These were awesome and perfect with ice cream. I will increase the cocoa next time for the more chocolate taste. *update* Made them again with the extra cocoa and used less flour. These were even yummier! I also had some chocolate frosting from a boxed brownie mix from who knows when. So happy I found a homemade brownie recipe that tastes awesome!
