Mandarin Orange Cake I

It was ok, just a slight hint of orange. I could have used more orange and in the future I'll be buying some orange flavoring and adding it to the recipe.

great cookies, I healthified the recipe by changing the oil to applesauce and the flour to whole wheat flour. Makes me feel better giving cookies to my kids.

Wonderful chicken. I exchanged the butter for extra virgin olive oil. Left the mushrooms out because my husband doesn't like them. I added chicken bouillon because it seemed like it might be bland. Turned out great!

Basic Biscuits

These were great! I tried making them a little healthier and I think I'll attempt again to make them even more healthy. I made them half whole wheat and used butter instead of shortening.

Mardi Gras King Cake

Not being form New Orleans and having no idea what a Mardi Gras King Cake was I made it. After making it I decided it is basically a glorified cinnamon roll.

Cake Balls

Everyone raved about the cake balls but I just didn't get what was so great about them. I tried them twice to give them the benefit of the doubt but I don't think I'll make them again.

Raisin-Filled Cookies

I love raisin-filled cookies and these didn't disappoint, I will definitely make them again except the next time I will double the batch of filling. Needs more. I am the only one who eats the cookies so I froze them and took one out when I wanted a little treat. stuck it in the microwave and tasted just as fresh.

Sugarless Pumpkin Pie II

My husband's Grandfather is diabetic so I made this for him for the holiday's. He loved that he could eat some pie! Great for diabetic

Gooseberry Jam

I followed the recipe on the sure jell and used the low sugar kind. My mom has gooseberries and I wanted to use them to see how they tasted. I enjoy them on the bush but had never cooked with them. I didn't like the jelly. My mom and dad love the jelly. I guess it's up to your taste buds! I also didn't use the skin or seeds. I put them in a juicer and only used the juice. It is a very pretty color.

Five Ingredient Ice Cream

just made this ice cream. very creamy and easy! I put mine in my ice cream maker which made it especially easy. One I left without adding anything (which I should have added more vanilla to it) the second one I put mint flavoring and chocolate chips in. very good.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Very easy to make. Kids may not like how spicy it is although I didn't think it was that spicy. My nieces wouldn't eat it because they thought it was too spicy. I'll make this again!

Orange Stir-Fry

My husband and I both agreed that this was a 4 star recipe. We both enjoyed it and I thought it turned out great and it was really easy. I haven't tried a lot of stir fry's so this one was an easy one to start with. I did make a few changes. I used chicken instead of pork and extra virgin olive oil. I also cut out the corn syrup and used honey. I also used peanuts instead of cashews simply because I didn't have cashews. cashews would have been better but the peanuts worked great. I like my vegetables crunchy so I did the 3 min. on them. Overall I'll make this recipe again and I'll even make it for the in-laws when they come.

Chocolate Spiders

These were easy to make but they are messy. If you're serving to kids keep this in mind. I don't think I'll make them again because of the messiness.

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

The lemon filling is very powerful. Although it was very good. I don't like when my lemon recipes only have a hint of lemon. This definitely wasn't a hint. It was a nice zing to the cake, complimented it very well.
