Creamy Spinach

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
Wonderful! I used fresh spinach instead of frozen and it worked fine. I just put on the lid to wilt it down and then stirred it in. It's also great served on crackers or tortilla chips.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
It was wonderful! My hubby who is a mousse-snob wanted to eat it all. My picky daughters enjoyed it too, which is surprising. Of course, I made him share. It was easy to make as well. I will definitely make this for my family again.

Pumpkin Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
It was a very easy pumpkin butter (after the pumpkin was cut up) recipe, but the spices were too much. It's almost bitter and I think that it's because of the clove. When I try this again, I will cut down on the spices. Also, it would be nice to know WHAT exactly is a serving.

Momma's Mmm-Mmm-Magnificent Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
It was a wonderful and easy to make meatloaf. I tend to like kethcup more, but I was very impressed with this one. I put the barbecue sauce bottle and the kethcup bottle on the table when I served it so that we could add what we wanted on top of it though.

Roasted Pecan Banana Bread Loaves

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
I made this exactly as stated and it was terrific. It was so moist. I did make it as a large loaf instead of the mini loaves and I had to cover it to keep from browning too much while it finished baking.

Blue Hawaiian

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2010
It's too strong. I tried doubling the pineapple juice which helped, but it may have need a little more. It was very good otherwise.

Double Chocolate Frozen Fudge Pops

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
These were very good. I made them with 2% milk, but I see from another review that I should have really used the whole milk; next time I will.

Slow Cooker Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
This was very good, but I didn't do the recipe as is. I took other's advice and added 8oz of sour cream, 8oz shredded mild cheddar cheese, a small can of mushroom tidbits, cajun seasoning, salt and pepper. I would've liked to try one person's suggestion of golden mushroom and cream of chicken, but I'm thinking she meant in place of the cheddar cheese soup and I had already put them in....maybe next time.

Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
Terrific! My hubby and I used it on buffalo chicken wraps and loved it. It's thick and creamy. I do add more blue cheese because we love it. I also put it on a little romaine lettuce and truly did not need anything else on it. It will be my bleu cheese dressing from now on since there are NO store-bought ones that are worth it.

Creamy Strawberry Crepes

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2013
These are SO wonderful and easy! It was sweet, but that was what was yummy about it. We don't have something like this often so it was so fun to splurge. We used cherry pie filing and canned whipped cream which was easy and yummy. I think blueberry, strawberry, applie, peach, etc pie filling would work too. I was able to get to where I was flipping them without a spatula! When we DO make crepes, this will be our recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Potato Latkes I

Reviewed: May 2, 2012
Yum, with the changes! I used the 1 egg, more onion, less salt and a little garlic powder. I let the peanut oil get up to 350 F and they came out terrific. My whole family loved them!

Puppy Chow I

I used a smaller size box of cereal because it's what I had, but I had to use a lot more powdered sugar. It was yummy and easy though.

Corn Casserole III

Wonderful flavor! It was a little goopy so next time I will drain the corn before adding it. The recipe didn't say to drain so I didn't the first time.

Perfect Baked Potato

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
Terrific potatoes! They were just right on the inside. We put on an au jous-type sauce from a cube steak (quick cube steaks from food.com w/ 2 gravy pkgs and mushrooms added) recipe I made and some Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing (awesome) that we put on too. It was so wonderful that we ate every bite, skin and all!
