Quick Brown Rice and Mushroom Pilaf

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
I thought this was very good, but my family was not too impressed. It was a lot tastier the next day reheated and my husband liked it better too. I like how healthy it is. I will make this again and hope my family takes a shine too it.

LOVE THIS! The textures are wonderful and you can use different flavored yogurts, whole-grain cereals and frozen berries. It is also VERY filling!

Perfect Baked Potato

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
Terrific potatoes! They were just right on the inside. We put on an au jous-type sauce from a cube steak (quick cube steaks from food.com w/ 2 gravy pkgs and mushrooms added) recipe I made and some Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing (awesome) that we put on too. It was so wonderful that we ate every bite, skin and all!

Pink Fluff

I didn't use the cherry pie filling (cut up some maraschino cherries), but it was wonderful! I'm going to try it with the filling too.

Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
Terrific! My hubby and I used it on buffalo chicken wraps and loved it. It's thick and creamy. I do add more blue cheese because we love it. I also put it on a little romaine lettuce and truly did not need anything else on it. It will be my bleu cheese dressing from now on since there are NO store-bought ones that are worth it.

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
This is a good bread, but nothing spectacular. What was really good was using it as toast and putting some homemade apple butter on it. Now THAT was very yummy.

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
It was wonderful! The pork was so flavorful and the juice made a terrific gravy. It did fall apart so it really ended up being like pulled pork, but that was just fine. The 4 hours on low was the right amount of cooking time. We will definitely make this again.

Chunky Marinara Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
It wasn't the best sauce I've had, but it is a very good one especially since it was so easy. I would probably use it again.

Instead of ice, use 4 cups of vanilla ice cream and create the ultimate adult milkshakes. Yum!

Ragu® No Boiling Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
It's a good, easy lasagna. It's not the best I've had, but it is good for a quick lasagna. I added a 1-lb mixture of sausage and beef, saute'd some mushrooms and onions to add in and used cottage cheese instead of ricotta. The best thing is that my girls ate it because it's not too spicy and a little bit sweet. I will make this again.

Pineapple and Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
Wow! What a refreshing smoothie! I used canned pineapple in pineapple juice and it worked just great. I made it for my daughter, who loved it, but I tasted it. When I make one for me, I'm going to try a little coconut extract or coconut rum (depending on time of day). Wow!

Delicious Healthy Strawberry Shake

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
This is a really good smoothie and you can change up the fruit to use what you have. I do like to add some Splenda to make it sweeter and protein powder to give it more umpf when I have it for breakfast.

Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
This is a really good, easy soup. I did add some ham that I needed to use up, but it did have to have it. It's a great way to use up left over mashed potatoes and I definitely would make this again.
