Sweet Russian Cabbage Soup

Yum! I did the 1/4 cup white vinegar, doubled the diced tomatoes and did the brown sugar switch someone suggested and I love it. Definitely will make again!

Chicken Lasagna with Andouille Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
Wonderful flavor! The only thing I changed is that I added some mushrooms; a good addition. The only thing we didn't like is that it fell apart easy. It wasn't very cohesive so it made it a little harder to serve and eat. My sausage must not have been that hot because my children were able to eat it and they really enjoyed it. I would make it again if there was a way to make it more cohesive without changing the flavor or general make of the lasagna.

Puppy Chow I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
I used a smaller size box of cereal because it's what I had, but I had to use a lot more powdered sugar. It was yummy and easy though.

Chinese Egg Soup

This was a very easy, very good soup. I used two eggs and liked that very much. I didn't have the green onion, but wish I did; I will next time.

Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2011
These were very yummy! I loved how flaky they were. The dough was very wet and sticky when I turned it out though so the kneading surface has to be VERY well floured. I would think you could add more flour at the beginning to reduce the stickiness and use less flour on the kneading surface. I will try that next time. A definite keeper!

Ramen Noodle Frittata

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
This was REALLY good for how easy it was. I had all the ingredients on-hand and could make it in a pinch. I did add some extras because I had them leftover in the fridge (bacon and onions). My girls actually liked it too! I would definitely make this again as a pinch meal.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
This worked out REALLY well! I used it for thanksgiving because I was making the taters and taking them to my s-i-l's house which is at least 20 minutes away. It kept them warm and I didn't have to "fight" for oven or stove space for them. They were really yummy and I got a lot of compliments on them. The left overs were really good with baked potatoe toppings; it made them like twice-baked potatoes.

Libby's® Pumpkin Roll with Cream Cheese Filling

Wonderful!!! The only change I made is using parchment paper instead of a powder-sugared towel to turn out and help roll my cake. I will make this again!!!

Slow Cooker Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
This was very good, but I didn't do the recipe as is. I took other's advice and added 8oz of sour cream, 8oz shredded mild cheddar cheese, a small can of mushroom tidbits, cajun seasoning, salt and pepper. I would've liked to try one person's suggestion of golden mushroom and cream of chicken, but I'm thinking she meant in place of the cheddar cheese soup and I had already put them in....maybe next time.

Caramel Macchiato Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Yummy! I had to use a different flavor of creamer, but I think a lot of flavors would work. I want to try it with the Caramel Macchiato too. I also added a cup of chocolate chips. What a wonderful treat with my coffee!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe Dianne!!!
