Make Ahead Lunch Wraps

These were easy to make and deserve 5 stars for the convenience of a make-ahead/freeze lunch option alone. After removing the wrap, we microwave these for 3 1/2 minutes and they come out great.

Citrus-Ginger Flat Iron Steak

My husband really enjoyed this. I used Sriracha sauce and also subbed dry ginger for the root; however, I think the fresh would have been even better. We served it with black beans and steamed veggies.

Key West Penne

I added capers and garlic to my sauce and sprinkled the shrimp with red pepper and basil and cooked in the tomato oil. I think spinach and/or mushrooms would also work well; however my husband says he wouldn't change a thing- he also said this is one of the best things I've ever made- which means this recipe is exceptionally delicious or I am not as good a cook as I've been led to believe!

E-Z Drop Biscuits

I am usually a flop when it comes to baking and it seems I ALWAYS over-mix biscuits, but these were excellent! So soft, tender, and delicious! I dropped them by the spoonful into a 12-cup muffin pan. Very easy and great biscuits!

Old Bay® Shrimp Fest

This is so simple and good! I like to make it for a super easy, quick and casual meal when I don't want to heat up the kitchen. Great for feeding a crowd and everything cooks in one pot. Awesome!

Tuna Lime Tostadas

Made as directed on tostadas the first night, then the husband finished it off as a dip with tortilla chips the next day. This was okay, I like all the ingredients in the recipe, it just didn't seem like the tuna really meshed well.

Green Chili Tomato Soup

Made this to go along with our quesadillas tonight, but it just wasn't the one for us. I may have liked it a bit better after a whiz in the food processor to puree the green chilies, but I'm still not sure that would reconcile the two flavors for us. It's too bad because I had been looking forward to making this, but next time I do tomato soup, I'll stick with trusty basil as a sidekick.
