Garlic Butter Sauce I

Perfect. Exactly what butter noodles should be. I lessened the amount of oregano a bit and added a pinch of black pepper, but I'm sure it's just as good as written.

It's strawberry jam. My only issue was the sweetness. I only did 3 cups of sugar, and it was still very sweet. It's good to me, but if I had done 4 cups as the recipe states, it might have been too sweet.

Heddy's Black and Red Bean Soup

I added some potatoes and about a teaspoon of dried basil. Very tasty. Put a bit of low-fat sour cream on top of a bowl of it, which gave it a little bit of something something.

Spinach Basil Pesto

Really tasty. I had no nuts of any kind, so I toasted some fennel seeds (1 tbs) and added them. I know that has no connection taste-wise, but i figured it needed a little crunchy texture. It was really delicious on some angel hair pasta. I'll try it again with some pinenuts sometime soon.

Roquefort Dressing II

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Tasty. I had a couple of pieces of bacon left over and then used the drippings by brushing them over the exposed asparagus. Then grilled them. Did 6 asparagus per bacon strip. Very tasty.

Bratwurst, Potato and Cabbage Soup

Really good. I added several cloves of minced garlic, a few shakes of red pepper flakes and 4 slices of bacon chopped into 1 inch pieces. Cooked the bacon and sausage together until bacon was cooked through and the sausage was browned. Also followed others' advice and only boiled the cabbage for 10ish minutes.
