Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

EXTREMELY simple, and very tasty! The only negative thing is the color...just reminds me of dirty mop water. Next time I will drain my black beans, maybe that'll make it look a little better.

This cake tasted really good...but this is the first of many bundt cakes I've made over the years that would NOT come out of the pan. It ended up breaking in half!!!! I used a lot of Pam and thoroughly coated the pan, just like I always do. I used satsuma juice instead of OJ, so MAYBE that's why but who knows? It did taste really moist and I did receive good comments about it (after I pieced it back together and used a melted cream cheese icing drizzled on it!)

Pretzel Turtles

I made these and they were simply delicious! I had numerous people try them and everyone I gave 1 to asked for another and another....I even made some with bite-sized 3 Musketeers, Milky Ways, half of a tiny Twix bar and they all were equally as delicious. The only change I made was letting them stay in oven for 5 minutes vs. just 4. Maybe my oven is a little off? Overall, definitely a keeper! I will be making them for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year!

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

I made this but increased everything from 1/2 c to 2/3 c. I love sweets, but the extra corn syrup and peanut butter made it just too sweet. Next time I will stick with the original recipe. Very tasty adn filling.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Since I was going to be away from home all day, I added one cup of water to crock before I put the roast in. But in the end, there was a LOT of drippings...so next time I will make it w/o adding any water. Also, I couldn't find Hawaiian sea salt so I used Mediterranean sea salt instead, and it was DELICIOUS!!!

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Very good! I followed the recipe exactly and was very pleased with the flavorful, moist product when finished. We ate over steamed brown rice with a side of green beans. Very good!!!

Crabmeat and Corn Soup

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!! I used king crab legs and lobster claw meat only....and it was better than restaurant quality! Also, I used fresh corn on the cob which added to the creaminess. We fought over the left overs the next day :)

Flat Iron Steak and Spinach Salad

Absolutely awesome!!! There are so many deep levels of flavor that burst in your mouth with this recipe. The leftovers were just as good as the first go-round and I will definitely be making this recipe again.

Southern Butter Rolls

OMG these rolls are soooo delicious and "airy"! I've been reheating them in the microwave and they are still good. I froze half the dough and plan on making cinnamon rolls this weekend. Don't see why that shouldn't work out.

Basic Crepes

Soooo delicious! I did some w/ butter and syrup, and others with baby Swiss cheese and thinly sliced deli turkey...they were all extremely delicious!!! Simple, fool-proof recipe that everyone should try.

Quick Sunshine Cake

Light and tasty -- EXTREMELY satisfying!!! I used unsweetened applesauce instead of oil (same amount) and it was truly delicious and you'd never know the difference if I hadn't told you.
