Apricot Lentil Soup

This is a terrific recipe served hot or cold. I have a sweet tooth, so next time i'll add extra apricots. Also, I forgot the lemon juice, but it still turned out really well.

Chewiest Brownies

These definitely satisfied my craving for a chewy brownie! They are rich are fudgy and hard to stop eating. But I did find them a bit too sweet, and next time I think I'll cut the sugar to 1 1/2 cups. I'll also follow other reviewers' advice to use a smaller pan. But I'll be making these again for sure!

Best Ever Muffins

This very simple recipe turned out to be surprisingly delicious. I mixed apples and cinnamon into half of the batter, and the other half I made savory with semi-sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil and rosemary. Both versions turned out really well.

Almond Custard Filling

This custard is so easy and delicious, and it's a great way to use up leftover egg yolks. I made it with whole milk powder and vanilla flavor (instead of almond) and served it with apple pastries, and it was superb!

Black Bottom Cupcakes I

Excellent cupcakes! The only problem I found was that I had a lot of cream cheese mixture left over, and I had used only 6 oz. Next time I'd double the batter but stick with the 8 oz. cream cheese. These are always popular at parties!

Buttery Soft Pretzels

These pretzels are amazing! They are so delicious and addictive. The only problem I had was that they always stick to the pan, but I found that using parchment paper helps quite a bit. Also, if they get a bit dried out, just put them in a sealed plastic bag overnight, and they will be chewy again in the morning.

Egg-free Brownies

Delicious! Don't let the unusual recipe deter you. I used butter, and they came out similar to the previous reviewer's: cakey on the first day, but slightly fudgier after that.
