Chocolate Toffee Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
I was so disappointed in these cookies!! I followed the recipe, but the cookies completely flattened in the oven regardless of how long I baked them. They stuck to the baking sheet and were hard to scrape off. After I scraped them off, I crumbled the cookies into small bits and served it over ice cream. I give the recipe 3 stars because the crumbs were delicious, even though they didn't form real cookies. I won't use this recipe again.

Banana Shake

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
This was good, although it should be called a smoothie instead of a shake. I exchanged vanilla extract for the lemon juice, and added cinnamon, nutmeg, and 1tbsp peanut butter. I also added a few ice cubes. With these changes it was delicious!

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
These cookies were everything I was hoping for! I used half butter and half shortening. I also needed to add about half a cup of flour. With these changes they turned out great!

Italian Bread Wedges

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
great recipe. Don't be fooled by the pictures though; this recipe tastes like breadsticks, not pizza. I served these as the main dish, with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. They taste best fresh out of the oven. I'll definitely make these again!

Wow, these cookies really do taste better than they look! I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out perfect. They give new meaning to the phrase "melt in your mouth." Great recipe:)

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
I used to use the recipe on the back of the peanut butter chip bag to make these. They always taste great, but every time they would fall flat!!! These cookies don't. They taste great, and look great too!

Risotto with Tomato, Corn and Basil

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
This is the first risotto recipe I've ever used, and it was easier to make than I thought! All of the flavors work so well together. We didn't have Arborio rice, so I made it with white rice and it still turned out great!!

Flavorful Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
It's amazing how a few added spices and some onions can jazz up a boring can of tomato soup. I didn't think it would taste that different, but it really did! I followed the directions exactly, but I'm not a big fan of onions, so that flavor was a little strong for me. Next time, i'll try using less onions:)

Traditional Cranberry Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
My family loved this recipe and ate it up in no time, but I gave it four stars because I found it too tart for my taste. It definitely needed that scoop of vanilla ice cream on top to balance out the sweet and sour flavors. In the future I might try using less cranberries, and more apples and sugar. However, I still think it's a great recipe, especially if you're a fan of cranberries:) (note: the recipe says a 9x12 pan feeds only 6 people! It really serves about 12)

These were delicious! Much better than I expected. The only change I made was to cook them for 15 minutes instead of 25, and they turned out great!
