Soups!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother is from Hungary, and every year for New Years day she would make Bab Leves (Le-vesh), which is Hungarian Bean soup. When I was younger I would help make the Csipetke (chi-pet-ke) which is pinched noodles. I continue to make this soup every year, and sometimes during the year when I get a craving...:)

Easy Garden Green Beans
This was wonderful! I harvested Bush Beans from the garden today (First harvest:) and wanted a simple way to cook them that had zero sugar. I halved this recipe and chopped extra garlic and left it in with the beans(we love garlic). I didn't measure anything, but I think I got about the right amounts per the recipe. And I think steaming left them with great flavor. Thank you for posting this! My boyfriend also loved it and said I should make them like this all the time. (oh, I also used sea salt, and skipped the parsley as I didn't have any, and just put the grated Parmesan cheese on for serving.)

Pork Loin with Caraway Crust
I thought this was amazing. I didn't have the Caraway seeds though, so had to sub...used half celery seed and half cumin seed. I also added a bit of garlic powder and some black pepper, and used EVOO rather than Veg. oil. And we used the charcoal grill: about half hour one side, flip, another half hour or so, check temp. We planned on having leftovers, but we ate it all right away. It was amazingly juicy and a ton of good flavor. Will be making this on a regular basis. I am going to buy caraway seeds today, so I will use it next time. I am sure it will be just as good!

Eggplant Delight
I gave it 4 stars cuz I had to change it so much. I only had 2 very small eggplants a lady at work gave me, too small to set anything on. also I had only smokey cheddar cheese. The eggplant looked really lonely in the pan, so I fried up a zucchini the same way I did the eggplant, and ended up using olive oil, garlic powder, salt, a bit of pepper, and diced onions. I mixed everything but the cheese together in the pan, then placed the cheese on top to melt...it didn't melt so I mixed it in too. It turned out to be a gooey yummy mess!!! I am totally keeping this recipe handy, with my modifications...I am going to try to post a photo as well.
