About this Cook
I'm very picky, only like chicken (skinless boneless breasts) ground beef, hot dogs, pepperoni as meats. For vegetables I only do carrots (not cooked), peas, and corn. As for fruits its apples and bananas only. Needless to say, it's hard to find yummy recipes- but I will eat just about anything with carbs!!
My favorite things to cook
Fried chicken, pot roast with beef noodles, breakfast.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every summer, my mom and I find the best tasting Iowa Sweet Corn. We get at least six dozen ears, cut it off the cobb, boil it, cool it, and store it in freezer bags for the winter. We always have fun, and get to enjoy a bit of summer all year round!

Foil Potatoes
Came out perfect and in the amount of time the recipe called for. We put them on a grate over the flames, and they were actually in contact with some of the flames. The outside skinds came out a little charred, so if you like to eat the whole potato be careful. Otherwise absolutely perfect!!

Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges
Very good, my husband usually doesn't like potato wedges or steak fries, he loved these, and so did I. I cooked about five minutes too long though to get them extra crispy. You definately want to take them out close to the 25 minutes or one side will burn a little.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken
The flavor of this dish was excellent. I'm not sure if I pounded the chicken thin enough, I had to cook this much longer than 30 minutes and was still a little nervouse that the chicken wasnt completely done. Boyfriend loved it, overall good!
