Spinach Ranch Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
Fab! I didnt add the chicken to the salad, as i wanted to use it as a side dish to the meat dish. I did add a tomato as i had one laying around. This was so tasty! I didnt even want the main course, i could've just eaten salad for dinner!

Easy German Bierocks (Runza)

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2008
They were pretty good, we dipped them in mustard and a spicy BBQ sauce. I also baked them instead of frying.

Blueberry Monkey Bread

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
Quite tasty. i only used 3 cans of biscuits, and the layered it into a bundt pan. also downsized the butter to just one stick, and then only a half cup of sugar as well. plenty sweet, and oh so good!

Apple Gouda Quesadillas

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
in one word: blah. used smoked gouda as suggested, but they ended up just too bland to try again.

Chile Garlic BBQ Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
Quite good, but i think that the sauce amount needs to be doubled. After cooking for a while on the grill, there really is not much left of it, and its so good! So, besides needing more of the sauce, this recipe has made me decide that salmon is actually quite good.

The Best! I could barely wait for this to finish cooking as it smelled so good! And boy was the wait worth it. I followed the recipe exactly and would not change a thing.

Cheddar-Thyme Flaky Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
These did not turn out well at all. i dont know if it was just me or what. They did not rise at all, and had a very dense, not flaky, texture.

Amish Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
This turned out great. I made a slight modification to it though. I let my bread machine mix and knead it, and let it go through two rise cycles, then i took the dough out and put it in a loaf pan, and popped it into the oven at 350F for 15 minutes. It rose beautifully and a had a wonderful crust. I have made a loaf of this bread everyday since trying the recipe!

Christmas Eve Beef Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
This was pretty good. Much much better than anything you can get from a mix, thats for sure! I made it in the crockpot on High for 6 hours, and everything was tender and delicious. Made a great dinner paired with the Amish Bread from this site!

Raspberry Custard Kuchen

This really stuck to the pan, even with cooking spray, next time ill flour it as well. It was good warm, but my family really started to enjoy it when it was a few days old, and liked it cold.

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
yummy and tasty! my hubby made himself sick from eating so much of it. for only 4 chicken breasts, you only need like half the called for amount of bread crumbs/parmesan. I ended up with about 3/4c. left over. alot of waste in my book. other than that i wouldnt change a thing.

Yummy! I added a few items, that i think boosted the flavor up another notch. I put in 2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke and added a bunch of crushed garlic. So savory and flavorful!
