Cabbage Tamales

Because it is Mexican flavored meat mixture "wrapped" in cabbage instead of husks, it is a very imaginative name!! :)

Mushroom Chicken in Sour Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
This has always been a favorite of mine! The recipe calls for the wine, sour cream, mushroom soup and mushrooms to be added together and poured on chicken to cook. I, personally, wait till the last half hour to add the sour cream. Yum

Slovak Stuffed Cabbage

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
This is THE BEST stuffed cabbage recipe ever. Being from Pittsburgh I was elected to make 50 rolls for a gathering, since I said I knew how to make them. They were gone in no time. Many were disappointed when we ran out! You can't beat this one. (I did use white rice)

Pittsburgh Style Sandwich

Yep! That's the way to eat a sandwich in Pittsburgh. Mmmmm...homesick already. Don't change a thing or it's not from Pittsburgh.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Great sandwich, but misnamed! 'Philly Cheesesteak' is very specific to it's ingredients not a blanket name for any sandwich with cheese on. Quite sacred to Philadelphians!

Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

I sure get tired of the angry reviews of some people. The author of this recipe did say, "reminiscent of" the Philly sandwich. I've had many Philly cheesesteaks in my life, including from the shop that invented it in Philadelphia, and no two taste the same. Her tastes are based on the ones she has consumed.

I would like to try this, but I need someone to tell me what constitutes "sweetened" lime juice!?!
