Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon
I just made this dish for dinner tonight. I added mushrooms, onions, and topped with fresh shaved parmesean cheese. I also added some thyme and red pepper flakes. My husband thought it was great, but I have to say thought it was kinda bland. Not sure if I'll make it again....unless my husband specifically requests it :)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
I'm giving this recipes 5 stars..because it is great! Not quite as good as my Mom's, but what ever is? This was the first time I have ever made potato soup myself and I was impressed. I used bacon, Lactaid whole milk ( I am lactose intolerant..you couldn't even taste the difference), added shredded carrots, a bit of half and half ( will pay, but it was worth it), as well as mashing up some of the potatoes per other reviewers recommendations. Seriously you will love this soup! Great flavor and pretty easy. Thanks for the recipe. I will definitely make again.

Spicy Turkey Burgers
I recently tried this recipe, since I've been trying to find alternatives to red meat. Everyone LOVED it! I enjoyed it, but would definitely add more spices next time to spice it up even more. Maybe red pepper or red pepper flakes. Also- it was kinda gooey and messy compared to hamburger when I was making the patties. I added some seasoned croutons that I crushed up, which seemed to help. *I did learn that not all ground turkey is healthy, as in low fat. Even the packages that appeared to be a leaner type were super high in fat. Once I paid attention to the different types I found one that was significantly lower in fat..like 3.5 grams a serving. Anyway, good recipe..Thanks! I will make again!
