Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
These are terrific! I have made these several times, this time using only 3 eggs bc I didn't have a 4th and they turned out perfect. I didn't really notice a difference. I coat my cookie sheet with vegetable oil, lightly so they are easy to remove. Also, to the reviewer who asked why they were going flat...don't open your oven when you check on them. The loss of heat in your oven will make them go flat. I had this problem until a friend going to culinary school told me why.

Asian Chicken Salad

Fantastic! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the dressing! This was a huge hit with the whole family. I added wonton strips, used boston Bibb lettuce, mandarin oranges, bean sprouts and sliced honey roasted almonds. I can't wait to have this again tomorrow. Thanks so much for sharing, this really is fantastic.

Thai Pork with Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
This meal was AMAZING!! I followed the recipe exactly except that I used light coconut milk to save on fat and calories. My husband and I both greatly enjoyed this meal! I am not a huge fan of pork chops, so next time I will use either pounded out chicken breasts or pork tenderloin as another person suggested. It was so good, I will be making this over and over. I served it with the asian chicken salad (omitting the chicken) from this site and white rice. Thanks for sharing this, we LOVED it!

Wild Rice Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
I made this for myself today for lunch, and was very pleased with the results. The only change that I made was using lemon juice instead of vinegar. It was really good. I wrapped the chicken mixture in bib lettuce, like a little wrap and it was really good. Oh i did make on additional change, I used sliced honey roasted almonds for a little sweet crunch. So good, thanks for sharing this.

Chicken Bryan

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
My husband and I both really enjoyed this, but the lemon is very overpowering and that is why i am giving it 4 stars. It was fairly simple to make, I sauteed the chicken with olive oil in a pan. I doubled the recipe but only put in one and a half lemons. Even with that change it was still a little too much lemon. Overall, I would make this again, cut the lemon down even more, it really is fantastic!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
Fantastic!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! Only suggestion I have is don't use bone in pork. I used country style ribs and by accident bought bone in. I was picking little pieces of bone out while shredding, and still got one in my sandwich. Was a huge hit with the fam!

Chunky Apple Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
I thought this bread was good. My kids loved it. I left out the raisins because i didn't have any, and added a few extra apples. I did use the low fat mayo, (the kind with olive oil in it) and it came out just fine. It was done at about 45 minutes, not sure if that is because of the mayo switch or not, but watch the time when you are baking this.

Baked Meaty Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2008
My husband and I both really enjoyed this side dish. We took it to a bbq and got many compliments. I didn't have any maple syrup, so that was left out, but it was sweet enough for both of us without it. We also used chipotles in adobo instead of the sauce. I also used kielbasa. I will definately make this again. Thanks for the recipe, it was a hit!!

Chicken Tikka Masala

This was wonderful! I cut down the salt to 1 tsp in the marinade and sauce, and only used 1/2 jalapeno, and it was spicy, but perfect for our taste! It was a big hit, I will be making this again for sure!!
